About an hours drive from the city, this RV park is a great experience. Country, shady sites, hiking and horseback trails. Lots of space for relaxation. Economical. Very group friendly, as well. Well furnished clubhouse for group use. Pool and Jacuzzi. Spacious sites with full hookups. Close to the golden Acorn Casino. Each of the staff we met are friendly...

We booked a trip here for a birthday weekend for my brother. Off the bat, the staff was incredibly welcoming and came out to our car to say hello. We all noticed how accommodating and friendly everyone was. Annette even made us all breakfast the morning before we left. The campgrounds are filled mostly with trailers but we spent the...

The RV sites are big and most are very shady. The park is well maintained and staff are exceptionally nice! There are all kinds of wildlife too - turkeys, hummingbirds, woodpeckers, blue jays, etc., etc. The "Dog Bark" is awesome and gives our dogs a place run and play. The hiking trails take you up to some heights that allow...

Sacred Rocks Reserve is the ultimate place to be if you are looking for traquility and peace. We brought our RV and had a nice, shady spot that was quite large. We even had a fire ring and picnic table. There are a variety of beautiful trails with rock formations which one could climb if so inclined. There is also...

What else can I say, it's a nice place to get away from the city, about an hour and twenty minute drive from downtown San Diego. I camped here the other night and fell asleep to the sound of coyotes in the distance. I woke the next morning and did the labyrinth walk before leaving. The day I arrived I...

We love RV-ing. So on this trip we were on our way to Seattle, Washington from Texas. As you may know we had many stops at several RV Parks and ran into a couple who recommended Sacred Rocks Reserves RV Park. They had stayed as long term campers. We meet the couple at a restaurant in Arizona and gradually had...

We live in Yuma and try to cool down from time to time in the summer by taking short trips. Most of the time we go to northern AZ or NM. We were going to stay a week and travel on to San Diego for another week. When we got there it was real warm and thought the pool would...

This past weekend was the worst camping trip I have even been on, including ones that had trips to the ER. My parents and I took my children and my sisters children here for the weekend. Before we ever arrived the campground had changed our spots three times, because someone kept messing up the reservation. We arrived on Thursday and...

“The gravel is soft on the side backing up to the cabins, it makes it easy to slide the stakes in. I would still bring some padding other than a sleeping bag though I like soft beds though :P”
