Kind of hot but this place is excellent. The room was gorgeous and they thought of everything. We had a queen room and there was a back enclosed patio. The pool was lovely and so welcome after we had taken a walk at Anza Borrego SP. The real treat came next morning with a first class breakfast. Home made food...

Send the kids to stay overnight with grandma, put away your cell phone, your computer, and come to Borrego Valley Inn if you want to experience a little bit of tranquil heaven. Or, I should say, “heavens.” This is a terrific place to kick back and stargaze with a nice glass of wine. If you’re serious about watching the night...

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Borrego Valley Inn - beautiful dessert setting with open courtyard area, private patios, wonderful breakfast. Close to town and to the park visitors center. Magical place - would definitely recommend!

If your idea of roughing it in the desert demands more than a campground this lovely inn out in the Anza Borrego Desert SP is worth your consideration. Southwest style buildings and furnishings, comfortable beds, spacious rooms, pool, great breakfast. Just what you need to get you started for some desert exploring. We got the suite with kitchen and gas...

Small hotel with lots of charm. Love the private patios and the seating out front to enjoy views in all directions. Rooms are well maintained and have that southwest style. Luisa is still making the breakfasts that are included with the price. The queen size rooms with fireplaces are a nice option including mini fridge, microwave, and basic gear for...

Lots of special touches to make the room and inn more like a home than a motel. Loved sitting in front our room relaxing and enjoying the desert garden at the end of the day. Breakfast on the patio was great watching the birds.

We have just returned to England after our fourth stay at the wonderful Borrego Valley Inn. Although sorry that Rich and Gwen are no longer there, Luisa (and her wonderful cookies and breakfasts) and Angela still are - and the gardener/handman whose name we did not catch. Mercifully, the new owners haven't changed the ambiance of the Inn and we...

We loved staying here. Is quiet with desert all around. The room was comfortable, nice bed, back enclosed patio and with outdoor chairs in the courtyard. They served breakfast in the morning which was good also. No one is on the premises after 6pm, if you need something have to make a call. There is a pool and Jacuzzi. Is...

The Borrego Valley Inn is quiet, comfortable, and convenient to the main part of Borrego Springs and the Anza Borrego State Park visitor center and Palm Canyon area. We go nearly every year to see the wildflowers, hike and observe the birds and other wildlife. This was our third or fourth time to stay at the Inn. It has changed...

The rooms, private patios, pools, and general ambience were all very pleasant as we expected. But they are obviously cutting corners to save $ which is a shame. First, when we admired the very nice sitting area with sofas, books, fireplace, etc, we were told that it was shut after 6 pm. Second was a very disappointing breakfast. The website...
