Great quiet romantic place to see the sunrise, the sunset, and the stars. The desert is your back porch. Not a complaint, more of a cautionary note to those who don’t roll with the flow of any given situation. There maybe no one there when...More

We really enjoyed our two-night stay here. Don't know about all the rooms but ours had a sink, a coffee maker, and a small fridge. We paid extra for a room with a fireplace and were glad we did. There are two pools (one clothes-optional)...More

We enjoyed all the special touches at this beautiful desert inn. The staff were warm and helpful, the desert gardens were artful (the raked sands a bit zenlike), the folk/local art in the rooms were charming and the breakfasts were outstanding. What makes this inn...More

We might have liked this place if they had ever returned our phone calls. We called twice during times when a hotel should have someone at the front desk. We got a recording each time, left messages and never heard back. I know it;s the...More

There was not a telescope when we stayed here, but I did bring my own binoculars. Star-gazing is a must here!

Pets are not allowed. A while back there was another owner who DID allow dogs, but not the current owner. We switched from staying at BVI to staying at La Casa del Zorro, which does allow dogs.
