We loved the Southwest style of this hotel, it fits perfectly with the desert environment. I also appreciate that it does add a "resort fee" to the bill. The chairs in front of each room are a nice place to enjoy a cup of coffee while admiring the courtyard and mountains. My wife said, "One of the best hotels we've...

Excellent location. Nice ambience. This is the third time that we have stayed here in the past 10 years. The breakfast used to be a high point; now it is just O.K. The Inn ownership has changed; the present inn is very nice, but not as outstanding as it once was.

The change in ownership is visible negatively in small ways to an outstanding inn. Borrego Valley Inn is peaceful with rooms around a courtyard of desert plants with mountain views, chairs and some rockers on courtyard; private patios; nice décor; nice pools and Jacuzzis; good linens. The service has slipped…couldn’t get second room key and was not given combination until...

Yes, a tad expensive, but worth it. Quiet, clean and comfortable in the southwest adobe style: when you arrive after a day of driving like us, you will sigh with relief knowing the drive was totally worth it. If you need to escape from winter rain and cold, this is worth the splurge. Couldn't decide whether to sit out front...

Great location as you can walk to park headquarters or center of town (nice Farmer's Market on Friday). Clean, comfortable room with gas fireplace, front porch with rockers and back private patio. Lovely Santa Fe desert decor. Pleasant free hot beverages in main area and cookies in the afternoon. They did put on a pretty bad breakfast though (included). Good...

This small, quiet hotel is nicely placed near the center of Borrego Springs, but set back from the road. It is also two. United from Borrego Palm Canyon. The rooms are lovely and quiet, the heated pool is small, but very welcome. This is not a good choice for groups, or for children. The offered breakfast was ok, but only...

This Inn is quite nice. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and well appointed. The linens are a very good quality. Romantic southwestern styling. Quiet and peaceful. Two pools, one is clothing optional (cool refreshing water). The other pool is heated. Hot tubs at both pools. Walking distance to many restaurant options. Breakfast is included and pretty good. Lots of...

Loved our recent five-night stay at Borrego Valley Inn. Patios open onto the desert for hiking, bird-watching, star-gazing. Quiet, peaceful, pretty grounds surround the rooms and all are just steps from two pools and two hot tubs. Ample breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff, low-key vibe, very relaxing. Within cute Borrego Springs and near services, as well as adjacent Anza-Borrego State Park...

We've been staying at this hotel, on and off, for more than a decade through several different owners. We stayed most often years ago when dogs were allowed. That changed but we stay, nevertheless, annually. Summary: The good: excellent, friendly (underpaid) staff in the office clean rooms great location nice breakfast, included Needs improvement: the soap is "motel 6" tiny,...

This was our second stay at Borrego Valley Inn. Since two years ago, the property sold and we were worried things had changed for the worse. Pleased to say it hadn't! The pool was heated comfortably, hot tub operational, grounds still lovely, the quiet peace preserved, and the wonderful service and hospitality still in place. I can't say enough about...
