We stayed in the two bedroom, which has not been treated kindly through the years. The pictures must have been taken 20 years ago, because the windows have not had white trim in many moons, and the trim outside the window is no longer a rustic wood color. The window seat fabric is ripped; the seating in the TV area... More

My kids (teens) and I stayed here for a weekend and loved it! Very peaceful. There were plenty of puzzles and board games to keep us entertained. There was also a very handy little shop right next to us that we used to stock up the fridge. Charlie the Seagull visited quite often. We even saw a few seals following... More

We had a great stay here for the week this summer. The location is right on the Bay. The balcony shares the sights and sounds of the bay and it's wild life. We had a Seagull that came by every day begging for food. The sea otters were swimming near by. We could see fishing boats going in and out... More

This is not a five star resort, if you come here expecting the Hilton you will be disappointed. I, however, would trade all the five star, over sanitized, cookie cutter resorts in the world for this location. This is a funky, dated, small furnished apartment that is better equipped than any business condo that I have ever been put up... More

We stayed 3 times at "The Bay's Edge" to bring our out of town guests. Everybody loved it. It is a very charming, comfortable place with excellent view, tastefully decorated with a fully equipped kitchen and modern luxuries such as flat TV and wireless. The landlady is very nice. I am surprised at the negative reviews. For us, staying in... More

My fiancé and I spent two nights in the 2 BR and were surprised at how different it looked from the pictures posted. It was very musty smelling and dated. Yes, it was well equipped, especially the kitchen, but it was not very clean. There were ants all over the counters both days. The beds were hard and the "luxury"... More

We spent a week at this property in the middle of September. The living area was great for 2 people and very comfortable. A flat screen TV, DVDs and WiFi connection gave us all we needed. It was all very clean and well stocked with cooking appliances and crockery etc. We moved the table to get the best view of... More

My mom and I stayed there awhile back and I've been hesitant to write a review since the other reviews have been so favorable. There is no doubt that the location it perfect. But.....we stayed in the 2 bedroom and there were more negatives than positives. The beds were comfortable and clean. The bathroom was ancient...old wooden toilet seat with... More

We found this rental property on VRBO and were very pleased. It was a very nice, clean unit with a great deck overlooking the bay. Nights were a little cool, so be sure and bring a light jacket. The location is great! Close to the Redwoods, the Russian river, hiking trails, restaurants, and wineries. I would recommend the 1 BR.... More

Our young children loved this vacation rental and so did we! This spectacular rental truly is "At the Bay's Edge"....we enjoyed panoramic bay views and our private deck was literally just above the water's edge. All of us enjoyed watching the seals play, and our kids loved feeding the seagulls. At low tide, the kids enjoyed watching the clams shoot... More
