the room with the balcony/ bay view was difficult- didn't know we had stairs to climb(knees issue).. but, the most disappointing part was the (outdoor hot tub) jacuzzi - .. really looked forward to that luxury (down for servicing) Our previous visit, was wonderful -private hot tub(non available) and first floor.. now, we know better ... we'll def. give another... The Inn is run by some very nice people that are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are large and well furnished and the views from the balconies are very nice. The facilities do need a liitle more maintenance and some updates but still very comfortable. It is within walking distance of Doran Beach and some nice birding areas. Definately... More

The appearance of the hotel is pleasing, but the rooms are getting tired, with functional issues will balcony doors. Also hot tub advertised out of service. Towels have seen better days, but all is clean. Reception at check in was good. And value for price is disappointing. All rooms are facing bay and have sun set exposure. Would try another... More

I visited in april 2013, and found the hotel to be clean, and the staff friendly. The area is beautiful, a short drive up the coast gave access to multiple beaches and the Armstrong Woods red wood forest. Lots of quaint small towns and very close to the wine growing area's as well. I would go back, given the opportunity.

Came here in April, 2013. Booked a room with lowest rate. The hotel front desk upgraded me to a room with view and fire place. Room is spacious and clean, great value1 Staff is extremely friendly! Enjoyed the stay.

Stayed here last weekend. For the price I paid, room was terrible...I wish I'd have asked to look at it before I paid. Floors were not swept, carpet possibly vacuumed in traffic areas. Carpets were old/dirty/faded and you could tell that the cleaning staff did the bare minimum. I rented a fireplace room, but there was nothing in the room... More

This was the third hotel we stopped at to find a room for the night on our Northern California road trip. While the first two hotels/B&B were nice, we couldn’t find anyone at the front desk at either – even after we rang the bell, knocked, and waited around for awhile. So it was a relief to find this hotel... More

Rented a Jacuzzi fireplace "suite" for a winter weekend getaway with my girlfriend. Upon arrival room was musty smelling and took forever to heat up. Very dated room decor, carpets, wall paint, bedding, etc. Sheets stained, phone and lighting visably dirty and had not been cleaned. Pros: Friendly welcoming Front Desk staff, helpful housekeeping staff although room obviously not inspected... More

This hotel has a good located between Hwy 1 and the bay. We received a friendly welcome upon our arrival. We were able to check in at about noon. Our king room with fireplace was spacious and clean. Cleaning staff did a nice job refreshing our room the next day while we were away for a few hours. There's a... More

traveling from coast to coast isn't difficult when we can find fabulous places like your resort. The availability of the spa (heart shaped~nice) in rooms is something we enjoy tremendously. The view of the bay from our balcony *cherry on top*. Breakfast could use a boost (eggs & potatoes) but, enjoyed the waffles and delicious coffee. Foghorn took a moment... More
