The managers Tina and Bruce make the stay so great. On first night we arrived late and Tina was so helpful that we ended up staying 3 nights instead of 1. She helped us where to eat, where to visit and just general helpful tips of travelling around. So friendly and never to busy to help me and my boyfriend whenever... More

We ended up paying 80$ a night; I think something was going on in Bishop at the time. The room smelled like Febreezy mildew. The flat screen TV was smaller than my computer monitor at home. I slept well enough though, and it was nice that there was a small kitchenette in the room. The staff was very nice and... More

Stayed in Bishop as a stop off on the drive from San Francisco to Boulder City. Upon checking in we were offered tortillas with sugar and cinnamon which were fantastic, also asked for any recommendations for dinner and breakfast and were pointed in the direction of a couple of places near by- the gentleman on reception couldn't of been more... Enjoyed this place with such a nice service and friendly owners. Ended up staying there for two more nights and loved it. Discover the town and hot springs near the town, but stayed there because it was the closest place to the Mammoth Ski Resort. Highly recommended! P.S. Loved their coins collections and enjoyed to add my home country one... More

My friends and I prefer to stay at The Trees whenever we visit Bishop in the fall and winter. Why? Because for a budget motel, the price is so excellent for what they offer. Pros: - Clean, cozy, quaint rooms - Hot showers - Comfy bedding and fluffy towels - Wall heaters work incredibly well - Outdoor BBQ / food... More

We got in just after 10pm due to the heavy snow we encountered coming from Reno. The owner called us and we hapoened to be blocks away. She met us in the parking lit and let us know which room was ours and where we can park. She asked us to please be quiet when passing a room near the... More

Arrived after a long drive from Las Vegas through Death Valley to be greeted by the most friendly motel owner operators I have ever met. They made us feel right at home and welcome. This is just a motel but our room was spotlessly clean, quiet and well appointed. We could find nothing to complain about and plenty to be... More

I decided to try this place on our way to the desert from Tahoe. Bruce was so fun and accommodating on the phone and was clear about where we would find the key when we came in late. The place was small, but clean. The kitchenette would have been convenient, but we had no need as our trip was really... More

Located off Main Street and West Line Streets is an old-fashion motel. Rooms are furnished with down comforters, fluffy pillows and nice linens. Our unit has a kitchenette, (see picture) cute with a little fridge, microwave, bar area table with two bar stools, toaster, coffee maker and utensils. Bathroom is tiny but has a basin, commode and shower. Our unit... More

This is a great little motel. I'm not a big fan of "cookie cutter" motels, although they do have their uses at times. This is a little slice of Americana one of the old time motels that used to be dotted everywhere across America and are now mostly ignored for the big chains. Don't ignore this motel it is really...
