it depends on which cabin you are renting, but most of the cabins are very close to the river. As for hiking to a lake, my friends did it in an hour, but we took our vehicle to most of the lakes. You can view their cabin... More

Yes, people bring their dogs all the time! There is little or no bear activity at the resort, however in the high country trails there is wildlife that would perk a dogs interest.
