Overall, I thought this place was quite nice. Is it a 5 star resort: No. In fact, for the record, it is no longer called the Vintage Resort it is called the Vintage Lakeside Inn. Is it super fancy: No. However, it is clean, very inexpensive (for that area), and right on the lake. It could use a bit of...

It is a little hard to find but once you find it you know you are in the right place! The grounds were VERY clean and the couple dogs we saw there were so quiet even the one in the room next to us we could not hear barking unless their door and our window was open. And who needs...

I've stayed at the Vintage Resort - each time getting room #1 with its gas log fire - and it's a decent, clean and very reasonably priced motel in what can be a very expensive town. The bed was firm and comfortable, plenty of coffee was laid on in the room, along with pleasant toiletries and good towels. Wifi reception...

We chose this place because it was supposed to have a lakeside restaurant but it was shuttered when we stayed there. You can walk to the lake shore however, but there's no real path around it. It's a medium walk or short drive to the main shopping/restaurant area. There were a lot of noisy kids staying, and the neigbouring slum...

We went up for the weekend after New Year and stayed in a jacuzzi suite. Now ,when you are staying in one of these little inns or hotels in Big Bear,do not expect luxury. You have people coming in and out of the rooms with snow or mud or dirt on them.So I would not expect these hotels to have the...

Do not stay here. The website does not give the proper picture of this pit. Small dirty rooms. Did not feel safe. Inattentive manager. Your can only get wifi while in the office in front of him. Sadly, the best part of the one night stay was listening to the people on the second floor over us having short albiet...

Walking distance to the village, but it's not worth it. Definitely not a resort and barely "lakeside." The young woman at the front desk wasn't the least bit interested in helping or even being friendly. First night we got almost no sleep--the bed was terrible and the room was boiling--no A/C or any way to ventilate the room without opening...

Let me start off by saying that the owners/management are very nice. However, and this is a really big however, this is nowhere near a "resort." It is a '60's motel (still has the avocado green mini oven in the living room) that faces the parking lot, not the lake. We stayed over the Labor Day weekend, so we paid...

Room size is spacious and "cozy." The jacuzzi tub that jumps out at you when you first walk in is great after a long day out on the lake. However! Your feet are black after walking on the tile inside and there is no AC to ventilate the room, which gets stuffy very quickly. It is within walking distance of...
