We picked the Honey Bear Lodge to get off of the main drag where it would be a bit quieter. Honey Bear was very quiet, absolutely no road noise at all. You can get a little sound from neighbors or people walking outside but we had no problems. The lodge is heated with radiant hydronic floor heat - warm floors....

The location is perfect and in winter season heated floors are ROCKI! However, beds weren't comfortable, couldn't sleep for two nights of staying and we couldn't control heating. Over the night inside the room was super hot. Rooms are clean and hosts are very friendly.

Our family made a last minute decision to head to Big Bear for one night on Saturday morning. I called the Honey Bear Lodge from researching some online reviews and they were spot on. I spoke to Marcos who is the General Manger for the lodge and he was very helpful making sure all my families needs were met and...

I was in Big Bear for work and needed an economical place to stay off and on over a period of time. Honey Bear Lodge met that requirement, but I was pleasantly surprised that it was also very comfortable, clean, and homey. The new management is renovating the rooms...and everything works. Outside, there is a park-like area with barbeques, picnic tables,...

I want to say that my husband and I just stayed at the Honey Bear Lodge over the 4th of July 2012. Although we have stayed there many times since the 1990s, it is now under new ownership and we found them to be the most personable managers we ever encountered. Our room was already completely renovated (everything brand new...

Excellent stay for a reasonably priced room. We were up visiting a friend and needed a place to stay over the weekend. Found the lodge and loved it. Very fair price, spacious, comfortable room, even had a wood burning stove. It's a great location, just a block or two from the village. Property has several BBQs for use under the...
