Sunday brunch at The Peninsula Hotel was outstanding & beautiful. Our waiter was Narciso, who greeted us with his warm smile and made us all feel special. The Champagne was flowing, as we enjoyed our lobster waffles and many other great dishes to choose from. Ending our meal with many choices of sweet deserts and coffee. Needless to say, no...

Just 3 short weeks after visiting the Peninsula Beverly Hills with on a pre-college trip with our daughter, my husband and I returned with our teenaged son. To say we were once again wowed is an understatement. John met us at the airport in full uniform and a friendly smile, gathering our belongings into a car they had arranged for...

This might be our last visit. Sounds so politically incorrect... but if you are not a Saudi prince or I don't know... don't bother. Didn't like our rooms the last several times... Been coming for a zillion years... but doors open to rooms in the hallway... nannys and helpers hanging in the hallways ... room service carts. It's their hotel...

You know that you are going to be well taken care of when you've been nicely greeted by 5 different staff members before even reaching the check in desk. That set the tone for the entire evening. Every staff member was polite, courteous and very helpful. While you clearly pay for this service, it is money well spent. I would...

This is a spectacular hotel - and priced accordingly - but the years are starting to show. The management and food service are first rate but the facilities are dated and an overhaul is needed. The rooms look like circa 1995 and the gym is comically small. I loved the attention to detail at every turn and the staff were...

You can always expect great service from a friendly, professional staff at The Peninsula. I can only speak for the NY and LA properties. This visit to LA was no exception. After a dozen stays in the last two years, I was glad to see the in-room dining menu had a few new items, as my husband and I have most of our meals as room service. I did, however, miss the usual amuse bouche which used to come with every evening meal. We've stayed in a number of room types,...

The Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills is a very good hotel, The rooms are vast and the ambience of the hotel is very luxurious. The hotel is within walking distance of Rodeo Drive and all of the luxury brand shops. Unfortunately one of our party was allocated a villa unit, which would have been most welcome. Except, it was raining...

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighbourhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
