Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

As a woman travelling alone my main concern is safety at night. This hotel has old worn furniture, dirty carpets, non working TV's and rusted bath tubs, but honestly I am never in so I don't really care as the position was favorable for my business trip. SAFETY IS A BIG CONCERN in this hotel. ALL the staff leaves at 8 pm, leaving the hotel completely unguarded all night. In addition, the front door does not lock by itself, the client needs to turn around and manually close it, well you know how many people don't do it right ? This morning I got up for my meeting and there was a homeless man in the lobby. During the night someone tried to violently open my door, I yelled at them and luckily they left. Now there is yelling in the hallway, people knocking on doors and running in the hallway. It should not be allowed that people run a hotel like this. You purchase a room with the expectation of safety, which here is not guaranteed, If you are a woman travelling alone stay away from this place.

Do not go here. It may be cheap financially but that’s exactly what you’re going to get. It’s so cheap it’s unsafe and unsanitary. There were stains on our pillows and sheets, odors leaking from the toilet bowl cover that didn’t fit, numerous missing lights, rust in the tub and on the light switch which could lead to infection and electrocution, broken furniture, and so on. On top of all this, the hotel staff was rude and unhelpful. When asked to speak with a manager, there was “never” one available which seemed like an easy out for how often I’m sure they get these complaints. Please if you are going to Beverly Hills, actually experience the beauty of it and stay somewhere else.

this place is super vintage antique place, I like it a lot, its a break from Marriott, Sheraton and Hilton, very more personal place. Great atmosphere, lady check me in was very nice and cute. Internet is great, nearby a lot of places to see. Reminds me of lodging in Slovenia and Germany but LA.

I spent 2 nights here in December. Great spot if you have business in Beverly Hills. You can walk to any place in triangle. No frills spot. Up charge for extra towels. $50 late fee for checkout. Light on the hot water & any creature comforts. Communal fridge. So, so very convenient.

To be fair, this is a two-star hotel. What they lack in facilities and comfort, makes up for helpful (night) staff and most importantly, location! Right around the corner from Rodeo Drive and across the road from the Police Station. Be aware: there is only a basin in some rooms and it can get quite cold, so ask for a second blanket! Also - no elevator so if you have a big bag, you may struggle to get up the stairs. Also - I wouldn't rely on basic necessities like coffee...just go outside and buy some

I booked 2 nights at hotel. The location was ideal for me and only planning on minimum time spent in room, I thought how bad could it be, especially considering it was in Beverly Hills. As soon as I saw the room, which was filthy, I cancelled my 2nd night. The room had an overwhelming stench of mildew. It felt so unclean that I was afraid to touch anything. The furniture all looked like if had been picked up from the side of road after being discarded. I woke up early the next morning @6am and turned on the lights to see a cockroach crawling on the wall above the sink. I immediately packed up my suitcase and left without even showering. I could not get out of “Hotel Del Filth” fast enough. Even for the price, it is not worth staying there. A 1 star rating is generous.

I really liked the location of the hotel. However, I think the way we were received is outrageous. The lady at the reception first indicated that she did not want to help us before 3 p.m. When I then indicated that we had specially booked an extra day to get into our hotel room early, she said we should not have an additute. After a lot of hassle, she finally helped us with a sigh.

I cannot deny that the Del Flores needs refurbishment - it is very run down and I wasn't keen on a shared bathroom. But it is an excellent location just round the corner from Rodeo and I found the staff very pleasant. Also it was very clean and I didn't find it stuffy as some reviewers have said. One urgent thing is they should have is key cards - the door locks are old and definitely not strong. If you want to walk all round the neighbourhood and really explore it's perfect. I find it amazing that they don't improve the décor and raise the price as it is potentially a lovely little hotel.

THE POLICE WAS CALLED TWICE IN A WEEK. THE STAFF IS EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPOFESSIONALY. THEY OVER CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD. The girl on the reception crusses and yells at the guests. They put me in two different rooms after extension. This is bc they said the other staff didn't leave notes about my stay on the computer. Trust me. Don't ever think of coming to this place.

Horible Hostel. The girl on the reception seemed to be high (not marijuana ). She asked us three times if the already gave us the keys. The room was dark, dirty and smelly. The mattress looked like a lot of people hat swatted or other thing on it. Could not get any sleep in the hostel. Next day we booked another hotel. Of course they didn't give us any kind of refund. Just don't go there, even the street in front of the hostel is cleaner than the rooms.
