Excellent value hotel in a great location. Service was great all round and the bar had a really vibrant atmosphere. There was a pool available in the sister hotel very nearby which we made use of. Location was ideal within walking distance of all Beverley Hills amenities.
I have stayed at this hotel now three times and I love every single visit! It is very old and very charming, but the rooms are very comfortable and the bedding very high end. Check-in is very quick and room is always ready. The bar is a hidden gem! I would come to this bar even if not staying at the hotel! I love it! Looking forward to my next visit in a few days!
I had the best time here at the Maison140. I stayed for a week with my daughter who is 11. Considering I was on my own with her, I was a little apprehensive, but I didn't need to be. From start to finish our stay was brilliant. We has a quick and easy check in (Roberto was lovely and very welcoming, and we was given 2 complimentary drink tokens each!) A $700 hold was taken which I knew about anyway, it was on my debit card, I was told that due to the debit card, it may take longer to be released upon check out, it was released within a day! I'm not saying it'll be the same for everyone, but try not to be put off by a few bad reviews regarding this. Our room was on the third floor, we used the lift, no issues (have no idea why people even moan about a lift!) Room was clean and very well looked after. Regarding a few of the negative reviews, yes the air con is quite loud, personally that didn't bother me at all. Also, I've seen a few reviews regarding a smell upon entering the hotel, again this was no issue to me, it's not a bad smell at all, just a normal hotel smell, if that makes sense. I decided to only have room service once as I needed new towels, this was no problem and was done for me the same day. And the added bonus of being able to use the pool at the Moisac sister hotel was fantastic, my daughter loved this and we enjoyed our (non alcoholic) cocktails here after a few long days sightseeing. All in all we had a great time and I can't recommend the Maison140 enough, from check in to check out we had a ball! Staff were amazing. We will definitely be back at some point I'm sure!…
I really enjoyed the place. Very comfortable. Tina Peccorini was amazing host too. The bartender was amazing abs it's a great place to fall asleep. Will definitely come back to this place. Also so great to only be a walk away from everything.
This is alittle gem. Before it was turned into a hotel, the mansion was once owned by Lillian Gish, silent screen actress. It was very close to Rodeo drive, shopping, dinings and close to any assess to highways.
Good place to stay over Roomy bath Could be better vacuum around bed areas and room was strong cigarette odor and needed freshening up other than that bed clean comfortable nice sheets and walking distance to all the bhills area and w hllywwd
I always book this hotel for my team when they are in LA ( min 5 people ) The location is perfect for business and leisure as is not far from the business corporation of LA and is in the beautiful Beverly Hills. All this on top of the great efficiency of the Sales Manager Joshua, very rarely i found someone so good in dealing with corporate account and the rapid adjustments that such bookings might require. Special thanks to Randy the bartender and the breakfast staff for all their attention to the customers. Recommended for business definitely.
Place looks nice on internet but it's on par with Motel 6. I have not stayed at Motel 6 in 20 years. I won't stay here again. People were nice and it was close to everything cool in Beverly Hills. Just 5 blocks from Rodeo Dr.
I lost my father to Covid in April 2021 and now I am caring for my elderly mother who got Covid but has been having memory/brain fog and other health issues. I drive 110 miles to take my mom to her Drs appointments but I needed just ONE night to rest and decompress. Upon check in I told Jenn my story and she was so incredible in giving me two complimentary drinks at the hotel bar as well as recommending an incredible massage place in Korea Town which I definitely need! She was truly a gem and because of her I will be back soon to stay! THANK you Jenn! I also stayed at the Mosaic Hotel a week later and Brent was equally as wonderful helping me with my check in and stay at their sister property! Kudos to BOTH properties in hiring such an incredibly caring staff! They treat the guests like family and I can’t wait to stay there again!…
The room was dirty, there were glasses and bags of trash on the floor in the hall the entirety of our 5 night stay. We are not fancy folks, but this was pretty gross. The carpets havent' been cleaned in ages and there was trash on our floor when we arrived. Normally sure whatever, cheap room, but this in the middle of a pandemic. I love a good spooky place but the black walls were oppressive and it was very clear that it hadn't been cleaned properly in a while. There is a 17$ a night charge for amenities... there are no amenities (The pool is not a the hotel its through an alley at another place), never got wifi password, no housekeeping at all, bar was never open... etc. I know I sound like a jerk but for over 200$ a night it should be at least up to COVID cleanliness standards. Beds were comfy and it was in a good central location. …
