We had a fantastic stay at the Beverly Hills Waldorf Astoria! Having been to this property multiple times to have a drink at the rooftop restaurant, this was our first time staying as guests. Needless to say, we were extremely excited. We pulled into the valet and were immediately assisted with our car as well as our luggage. We were checked in by Lauren who was fantastic and made us felt welcomed from the get go. Unfortunately our room was not ready at check in, so we headed to Rooftop by JG to wait. Our only complaint about the stay was that while check in was at 3pm, our room was not ready until about 5pm. Our bartender, Lilly found out about the wait, and went out of her way to really accommodate us. Huge shout out to Lilly for recovering a negative into a positive experience. The room we were assigned to was 417. The rooms were beautiful and felt luxurious. The toiletries were from Diptyque. We absolutely enjoyed the balcony and the view of Beverly Hills. We were staying the night to celebrate my girlfriends birthday, and upon entering the room we saw a small chocolate pastry wishing her a happy birthday. Overall we really enjoyed our room and the wonderful staff here at the Beverly Hills Waldorf Astoria. The location is central to everything in Beverly Hills and just a short walk from Rodeo Drive. We really wanted to shout out Lauren and Lilly who really showed personal and great service!

Hotel's Favourite
I absolutely loved everything about this hotel. The service, the ambiance, the location, the view from the balcony, was all absolutely perfect. I have stayed at a couple of other WA properties before and this one was by far the best. (I'm hoping the Rome Cavalieri- our next WA stay (had to rebook due to covid) will come close to this one!) My husband and I stayed two nights and wish we could have stayed longer. To get the full effect, I think two nights is the minimum you should stay, if possible. The little extras (daily macaroons in the room- maybe a perk for diamond members?) The way the housekeeping staff wrapped our cords up with WA branded ties, and refreshing the bottled water in the room were so appreciated. I loved the technology with the IPAD. We hit a button that said "goodnight" and all the lights went off and the curtains closed. We hit another button that said "goodmorning" and it opens the shades and turns on the lights. So convenient! We ate at the restaurant on the roof a few times, and had a drink at the pool, and while it was pricey, it was worth it (to us) to relax, rewind and enjoy. Everything in this area is going to be expensive anyway, so we just paid extra for the convenience. After this we stayed at a luxury hotel in Napa and I was so looking forward to it, but it did not compare to the WA (even though the price was similar) and I felt myself comparing that hotel to this one and left disappointed. This hotel spoiled me so much I didn't want to leave and the bar has now been raised for every other hotel. THANK YOU for memories that will last me a lifetime!

This is my favorite hotel in Beverly Hills. The hotel is beautiful, clean and well-maintained. The accommodations are spacious and equipped with everything to make your stay comfortable. The rooms are large, the beds are comfy, the bathroom is luxurious, the closets are large, the views are nice (with a large balcony), the furniture is new, and very comfortable. The staff goes out of their way to be attentive to your needs. This feels like my home away from home whenever I visit my LA family. A definite return next year.

I used to love this place but they have really fallin off. My last stay on July 2nd was the last straw for me. For $1k - $5k per night hotel there are bunch better options in Beverly Hills. If you are reading this trying to decide which option to choose - I would go Beverly Hills hotel or Bel Air Hotel - depending on what you are looking for - and then look to the Edition hotel and the Peninsula and 4 Seasons before coming back to WA. I’ll tell you why and tell you about some of the amenities WA offers and what actually occurs. 1. Service level - supposed to be 5 star. Upon arrival I was told that my room wasn’t ready unless I wanted to spend another $1500 for a room upgrade. I intended on upgrading my room and called an hour before I arrived to tell them this - however despite that fact I could book the next room up on my phone at that exact moment- the front desk insisting he couldn’t do that and I needed to double my spend. When I showed him the availability of the room I desired he bag an to argue with me. It made no sense and the guy couldn’t keep his story straight. It was quite embarrassing having to argue with the front desk at an establishment such as this. 2. Small dog stay - we spent an $200 for a small dog fee which was to include a bed and food/water bowl. Since the bell hop didn’t bring the dog supplies up, we were told by the bell that he would return with our dog supplies immediately. I gave him a $20 tip which I feel is reasonably generous tip. That didn’t happen. We called in and reminded them we were still waiting and needed it promptly. We got ready for dinner and 90 minutes later we needed to leave for a night out and realized no one ever came with the supplies. We had to call again and were told they would come up with it. Another 20 minutes later no one had arrived so we had to call a 3rd time and at this point we were late for our dinner reservation but we were not going to leave our dog with no food or water for the night. Eventually it arrived and I didn’t tip the guy and he was visibly disappointed. How much extra am I supposed to tip after I tipped $20 and had to ask 3 times for this? 3. Concierge on the app - super cool idea. They help you with “whatever” you need just by using the Hilton app. However most of the time we had to follow up after my message “hi just following up on this”. Last time we were here at the WA the same thing happened and they were unable to get us reservations stating the restaurant was filling committed but I was able to open my open table and there was a table available and I booked it that way. This time is was a similar story where I asked about reservations but this time they didn’t even bother to reply at all. So don’t count on the concierge to be getting you into any fine dining you can’t just get yourself on open table. 4. House car- This is one of my favorite features of the hotel they have a brand new rolls Royce phantom to take you to dinner in. However whenever I tried to book I was told it was already booked. When you go down to valet and ask they tell you to book it through the concierge but when i did that I was told it’s booked until 10pm that night. How is it being booked when no one can book it? They only take people max 3 miles from the hotel so for the car to be booked from 6 to 1030 solid they would have to have 27 different booking already. Maybe there was I don’t know, or Maybe there is a secret way to do that now that was different from last time. Who knows. 5. Room upgrade with Diamond membership - when I went to cabo Waldorf last year when I arrived they greeted me with a cocktail and a free room upgrade as explained as a feature of a hilton diamond membership. And I am reminded often in my emails why I should keep paying my American Express fee and how great all these extras are fro being a honors member. However at BH WA, if I didn’t remind them every time it wouldn’t happen and then on this time even asking for it wasn’t enough. He had to argue with me about it front of other guests. They need to change their marketing to say that you get this extra as an honor member but only if you are ready to make a big fuss and look like an a-hole in front of other guests. At a 5star hotel this should be handled discretely and in advance. 6 - pool and jacuzzi - they have a beautiful pool and jacuzzi on the roof but it closes at 7pm and we couldn’t use it. And the checkout is at 11am so you don’t have any chance to use it unless you stay for multiple nights since it’s only for hotel guests. I called them and asked them for an late check out so we go to the pool and get lunch ($200 lunch usually easy) but they said I had to pay for a half night stay to get a late checkout (which is also included in my honor membership). At this point I was so frustrated with them I argued with them and told them it’s included for me as a diamond member and they obliged to a 1pm but not a 4pm checkout despite that I was simply extending the Check out to go spend money there and I checked - they had available rooms the next day they weren’t fully booked. (I get it if they are fully booked). At BHH they pretty much always give me a 4pm checkout. 7. The food - the rooftop restaurant has a beautiful view - it’s really nice - however the food is not good. It’s about 2-3x the price of a nice restaurant ($35 per cocktail) and I have yet to have a delicious cocktail or entree on the rooftop. I haven’t tried to the downstairs restaurant though. It might be great. I do still like going you just have to know you are going only for the view. Service isn’t bad. It’s like Disneyland or something where the food isn’t good but you like the attraction so you just kinda put up with it. There’s always tables available at the downstairs JG when I’ve been even on very busy weekends so I doubt it’s that great. But who knows. I’m contrast the Beverly Hills hotel and bel air hotel both has amazing cocktails and food. I’m out of time but I think you get the idea! Happy travels!

The team at WABH is truly one of a kind! From check in with valet, concierge, and service at the pool we had an amazing time! The rooms are luxurious and views are unbeatable. Our highlight was Mimi and her incredibly fun and memorable service poolside. We also loved the personal touches in the room thanks to Joyce. We had our little dog Asher with us and they treated him like a VIP guest as well. Very impressed. The service was luxurious and so genuine! Very much appreciate all who make this hotel very special.

My wife and I had a short three day, two night stay here over a weekend in June this year. We fell in love with this hotel and want to be back in a bad way. Anytime we're in LA we'll prioritize staying here. The Room: We had a room on the third floor, facing south towards downtown LA. We didn't have that much to look at aside from the Peninsula Hotel and Santa Monica Boulevard, with a hazy LA skyline a few miles away. That's about the only negative things I can say about the room. What a treat of a room. Beautifully designed with classical touches, it felt elegant and special. The ceilings were high, the decor was attractive, the bed was super comfy, the Alexa connection for opening blinds or shutting off lights was handy, the closet was huge, and turndown service was great. I loved getting up early (EST timezone) and having a coffee on the balcony and then taking a shower in the huge bathroom. The Grounds: It's a city hotel, so there isn't that much in the way of "grounds" but the location and facilities were just fantastic. The pool on the top floor was great, free sunscreen, attentive servers, warm water, amazing views. The actual hotel entrances were grand and impressive. The lobby fireplace was nice! The Food: We had breakfast two mornings at Jean-George, which was pretty ok - a little pricey for the quality of food in my opinion. Not poor quality, mind you, just a little much for what you get. Had dinner at Jean -George on the first night there. Food was again pretty good, very expensive, and service was not entirely up to par with JG in NYC. I guess because it's a hotel restaurant and not a stand-alone? Food at the roof deck (also by JG) was pretty similar, but the service was better up there (which is weird a bunch of the staff works at both restaurants). We had some unfortunate mishaps with the concept of "no spicy ingredients" being interpreted as "chili flakes aren't spicy" when the food came out. Helpful waiters though and quick corrections. The Staff: The staff here really really seem to care. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and a joy to be around. We had drinks at the rooftop, and our server from a previous night recognized us and stopped by to say hi. The front door folks were super great and helpful with bags and car doors. The pool folks were super great as well. I felt really cared for while here. The drivers of the house cars were super professional. In Summary: Stay here because you're close to fun stuff, you have beautiful rooms, great food, and can get driven around in a Rolls.

Great hospitality from Valet through housekeeping staff members. My own personal concierge was very attentive and answered all of my questions in a very timely manner. The valet staff was very polite and treated my family and I with respect even though we only have an old Rav4.

The Waldorf in Beverly Hills, and I imagine Waldorf's and probably Conrad's in general, are the Bizarros of the Hilton universe, in a good way. Whereas Hilton properties are normally shabby, the Waldorf was elegant and well maintained. Whereas the staff at Hilton properties are neglectful at best and surly at worst, Waldorf's staff were attentive, warm, and accommodating. The two nights here this past weekend on free night certificates for the Waldorf's lowest-end standard room were far far superior to the best suites stayed at any other Hilton properties from my very extensive history with the Hilton brand. Special thank you to Tylor at the front desk, who texted me as soon as the reservation was made to kindly offer a king bed room instead of the 2-queen bed room that is normally offered for these certificates.

We took a Memorial Day weekend getaway to the West Coast and had the great privilege to stay at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills. We've stayed at other WAs around the world, and this one is comparable. Great location. Beautiful property. Spacious rooms. You definitely feel "special" when you stay here. Great dinner on top of the hotel. Delicious breakfast in the morning. If you get the chance, stay here!

Well first impressions do count! 1. I booked a pick up from the airport through the hotel. It wasn't there to collect me and when I rang the driver I was told to make my way out to the road and wait there - which i did, I waited, and then eventually the driver came past. 2. I got to the hotel, no member of staff offered to help with my luggage - they didn't even smile. 3. As. a diamond member I'd been offered a e -upgrade, which was paid for, they didn't tell me as I checked in that had happened - but it was for a quiet room on a higher floor 4. The room was noisy - a rooftop bar opposite - I went down to ask for a room on the other side of the hotel - they said they didn't have one but would try to sort it the next day - they never did. 5. the bed is lumpy - like a milliion people have slept on it So I decided to cut my 6 nights at the WA down to 2. I checked out. I found the hotel vibe is uncomfortable and unfriendly. The good points - the two stars are for staff members Rachenda and David who were kind and helpful. There is no need to be so sterlile in your service just because you are high end! I won't be back.
