We offer accommodation in an old farmhouse built in 1926 and restored in 2008 and 2009. Our farm is steeped in history, as people have lived and worked here for centuries. We provide accommodation for 10 people over two floors and also have a separate log hut for 4 guests. So a total of 14 people can relax here. We highly value your satisfaction, privacy and safety. If you wish to stay at Laugu Tourist Farm by yourselves, we will not have other guests here during your stay.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A warm welcome despite our rather late arrival (bike trip). Great food, warm hospitality and hosts happy to exchange with us about Saaremaa. Room very comfortable and well-equipped. Perfect setting, calm and secluded.

Wonderful relaxing farm to chill in after a long day's cycling. Uku, Aneka and Ingi are the perfect hosts. Complete home from home. We had a lovely room in the main house - very comfortable, nice shower etc. Dinner was made from home grown fruit and vegetables and and locally caught fish. Well cooked and very tasty. Breakfast was excellent - a buffet that four star hotels would be proud of! Had a lovely and interesting chat with Inga who told us a lot about the singing and dancing festivals. The farm is a beautiful place to stay in what is a lovely island. Could have stayed for plenty more days. I really recommend it whether you are cycling or driving. Can't wait to go back!!

It seems that many of the folks who have stayed here and written a review are cyclists. That makes sense, whether it's an organized tour or you're independent, as the ferry docks in Leisi late in the day and it's a quick ride before dark. Whether you're cycling or driving, a detour to Laugu Turismitalu is the right choice. Estonia pretty much closes up come September, so I was their only guest. Uku and Anneka were waiting for me with a fabulous dinner after a quick shower. A unique sorel soup, fresh flounder under a chanterelle wine sauce, potatoes and squash from the garden, an onion soufflé, and home made cider. A beautiful, handcrafted room with all modern amenities made for a great sleep and both were up to give me a breakfast that would have fed a family of 4. Omelette, fresh breads, cold cuts, home made lamb cutlets, fruit, cheeses, on and in. Oh, yeah- dessert the night before was a creamy parfait with fresh berries and toffee, and the breakfast porridge had fresh honey. Uku is a wealth of information about all things Estonia, and great fun to talk to. Get a great sleep and dinner, and head out well rested the next day. I tried to convince Uku (and ever innkeeper in Estonia!) to market themselves for a longer season, and Laugu would be an ideal place to come and relax in the winter. They accept reservations for the off season if made in advance. Say Hi for me!

What a great host family. We really enjoyed our time speaking with them about life in Laugu and Estonia. It looks like step by step they are building a great facility. The rooms and showers were wonderful. The beds comfortable. Probably the best facility we stayed in during our bike trip. And the food was wonderful family style local food. Each dish they would tell you where it came from. The fish from the local waters, the apple cider from their farm. We would have liked to have spent an extra day to enjoy the sauna and spend more time talking with the host family. But we were on a bike tour and couldn't do that.

We were on a cycling trip, and had only one overnight. The rooms are rustic and very comfortable, and we enjoyed several conversations with the host (Uku) about local and global topics. Annika's home-cooked supper was by far the best meal we had during two weeks in Estonia! Wish we could have stayed more than one night.

Beautiful farm stay. Uku, Anneke and Inge were wonderful hosts. The surrounds are delightful and we were served blueberries and strawberries picked from the forest for dessert with our evening meal. It was a delightful destination after a 65km cycle day. We shared great conversation with our hosts and learnt a lot about Estonian history. Especially interested in learning about the song festival and the part it had to play in the recovery of the independence of Estonia. Thank you for some special memories.

We were spending two extraordinary weeks in a very lovely and comfortable accommodation. A lot of nature, space and silence around us. It was really relaxing! Almost every morning we had a delicious and rich breakfast with nice music in the background and a hot fireplace. We already miss it!! We could even ask for a special dinner, and we enjoyed a marvellous meal. The resort is clean, tidy and the owners manage it with passion. The surroundings are beautiful and invite to have a nice walk. Our vacations were wonderful at this peaceful place. Especially because of the friendly and caring hosts! :-D

Uku and Annika run a wonderful Estonian hotel. We stayed only 1 night unfortunately since the dinner and breakfast of traditional fish, veggies, desserts, homemade pancakes, fresh herring, homemade jams and porridge were the best we've had while cycling through Estonia. They went out of their way to accommodate gluten and lactose dietary issues. If you stay here, contact them in advance to arrange a smoke sauna - traditional Estonian sauna in a small smokehouse which needs 6-9 hours to heat. Uku gave us a tour and we regretted not booking in advance thinking it was a normal sauna. The 2 hectare grounds are super quiet and relaxing. We stayed above the dining room in room 4 which is newly built by Uku himself and slept very comfortably. Hidden gem in Estonia and my husband and I wished we could have stayed an extra night. The place has playgrounds for kids and kitchenette suites as well as regular rooms. Seriously stinking cute with amazingly hosts! Internet could be stronger is the only downside.

The accommodation was light, airy and comfortable, the grounds a perfect place to relax on a sunny evening and Uku and Annika could not have been more hospitable, showing us round, talking about the culture and preparing a delicious breakfast and dinner for just for us. My only regret is that I had only booked to stay one night as part of a tour. Next time I would happily hang out there for a week and use it as a base to tour the islands by ferry as well as relaxing in the gardens and taking a traditional sauna. A haven of tranquility.

Recommended by citybike, The site and accommodations are excellent. The owners have created a farm life Museum atmosphere along with all the modern comforts. The owners are engaging and most helpful not only providing a good B&B experience but also helping me just to understand the region and even Estonia. This is what I look for wherever I stay in the Baltic or Nordic countries. I couldn't ask for anything better, although the locally grown and traditionally cooked and served dinner and breakfast were to date the finest I've received here in Estonia.
