A unique place where old and new coexist harmonically....beautifully restored chateau, with modern art installations all over...when you walk through the gardens you think you are in heaven....The food, both breakfast and dinner, cooked by the owner from fresh, seasonal ingredients is excellent. The owner, Mr.Eugenio Percossi,is a truly kind and friendly person. He makes you feel like home. It is difficult to find as the GPS takes you to some rear street in an incredibly small town. We waved down a fantastic local who delivered us to the door. We arrived late and there are no restaurants. The owner cooked us a fantastic meal. Martin the manager is one of the most helpful people I met in CZ....

We spent our last night in Europe here after a nine week trip. We decided to stay here as we were visiting Kutna Hora on our way to Prague airport the next day and were most pleased with our choice. The Chateau has had a beautiful restoration with lovely gardens. We stayed in the black and white room which had...

Love this hidden gem, excellent service and staff! This was our second stay in this beautiful Chateau. Loved it the first time, and loved it even more during the second. It is true the décor reflects blend of old and avant-garde twist, which could be confusing for some and intriguing and mind boggling for others. Our family decided to celebrate...

The chateau was off-scale good in many ways, which means that I can give it 5/5 and still make some suggestions. The room (black and white) was spectacular and memorable. The place itself was fascinating, with modern art blending with ancient and somewhat decayed infrastructure. The grounds were amazing - I have never seen barns that big, and you don't...

My wife and I were visiting Kutna Hora and decided to stay in Chateau Trebesice based on good reviews. We feel lucky to have been able to book it only a day in advance! We loved our very unique, huge, light and airy corner room with the most unique bathtub I've ever seen. Although the art that adorns the place...

The warm welcome of Alberto, one of the castle owners, was a great start of our stay in Trebesice. We arrived late in the evening and had a wonderful sleep in the godeous superlarge bedrooms. Next morning we just had an overwhelming look out of our windows. I felt like a princess! After a delicious breakfast we strolled around the...

As all the other reviewers, I would say that it is the one place of a kind - absolutely unique, very inspiring, unbelievably romantic, with extraordinary taste in interiors and gardens, delicious food and very personal service. I cannot even describe its special atmosphere and artistic beauty but you will definitely want to come back once you stayed here. We...

I don't suppose there's any other place in the world like this one. It's simultaneously a comfortable hotel set in a marvellous garden (designed somewhat in the English style), and an art gallery illustrating the eclectic taste of its Italian owners (architect and artist) - baroque, renaissance, oriental and ultra modern in inspiring and sometimes startling juxtaposition. Some of the...

“All rooms are very different (look at the photos first): some are huge (Corner and Geographical rooms), some smaller (Black and While, President rooms). Attention: Black and While room is a work of art in itself, designed to look like a black and white photograph, and it is the cheapest one, but it has an authentic (looks pre-WWII) bathtub with a shower in the room, while toilet and sink are modern and separate, so if you prefer privacy for your shower, are put off by a tub that has served generations before you, or need a large lit up mirror to put on your make-up, you may prefer to stay in another room.”
