Avoid at all cost!!! This was the biggest mistake in all of Indonesia, we went here as thought it would be the perfect place to see ijen volcano. Boy was I wrong! I have never felt like a walking wallet so much, all the staff in the hotel are corrupt in trying to charge ridiculous prices for everything! The rooms...

Our room was large and acceptably clean but the bathroom was quite iffy. However, we soaked our weary muscles in the hot tub which we emptied, cleaned and refilled ourselves from the natural hot waters after the long drive here from Cemorro Lawang (Gunung Bromo) and then dove right into the cool pool. Heaven!

Our room was not in main building, but maybe two hundreds meters apart from main area with restaurant. We stayed at this hotel for one night whilst on a Bromo - Ijen 3 day 2 night tour. All these tours come to either this hotel or another in the area, this one is supposed to be the better of the two. We didnt pay much for the tour so didn't expect much. The good parts - the location;...
