We stayed here in August 2016 in the 'Family' room - my husband and I and 2 kids in early 20's. We all LOVED it. The hosts are terrific. We walked to their private beach, visited the Llamas, and toured the area. The breakfast was amazing. Very warm, down to earth. We will definitely be back.

Through no fault of anyone, we weren't able to stay. The remnants of Hurricane Mathew took out electrical power the night before we were to check in. I give the proprietor Josie high marks for her efforts to contact us in advance. We were exploring Cape Breton during the day and expected arrival by early evening. I wasn't able to...

I chose the Red Roof because of these TripAdvisor reviews and I am happy to report that there is no false advertising going on here. Josee and Jim met us in the driveway with hearty handshakes and we were then met by dog #1 - Charlie. We stayed only one night in the Sunset Room and we were very sad...

If you are a nature lover, you should immediately feel at home at this beautiful B&B. Josée and Jim are amazing and have a beautiful property with many friendly animals. As backyard chicken ranchers, we were pleasantly surprised with young chicks and the free range chickens. Alpacas and donkeys were also very fun to see for the kids. We stayed...

We only had one night here, as a stopover between Kejimkujik and Cape Breton. We had the family suite, which is a beautiful big room over the garage (very quiet). A great place to recover after five days of camping. The house is big and beautiful, and the hosts are so welcoming - especially the dogs!.

A very relaxed stay in a stunning building with lovely hosts. A pleasant drive into Antigonish which we really liked as a small town. Josee recommended a great restaurant and her breakfasts were true home cooking. As a bonus her many and varied dogs were friendly and the alpacas very cute!

We loved the stay at this B&B. Josie has a passion for hosting and sharing her love of animals and for cooking. She made us feel right at home by giving us a tour of the chickens, alpacas and donkeys. Her three dogs are very well trained and beautiful rescues. The room's balcony had a magnificent view of the alpacas...

Our family of 5 stayed with Jim and Josie on dropping off our oldest at St FX university in Antigonish. It's about a half hour drive to the lovely university town. Although we did not get to truly enjoy all of the amenities the bed and breakfast had to offer, Jim and Josie were truly gracious hosts, lending my husband...

This is one of the best ever B & B we have ever been to anywhere. The place is spacious, nice, clean, comfortable and Josie and Jim are one of the most wonderful people I have come across. We only stayed one night on our way to the Cabot Trail and wished that we had booked for another night. This...
