yes this boutique hotel has an excellent location in the old colorful pedestrian street, with an amazing sunset. the old house is very nice. so it has it all to make it a perfect weekend destination but the owners are so sure of that that they treat customers with a total lack of respect. don't even expect a smile, even...

Stayed for 1 night! it's a little expensive (110$) since it' an auberge and not a 4 stars hotel. They serve a nice variety of foods and you can chill on the bar all night with some nice salsa music. Not recommended for families, but if you're looking to spend good time with friends then it's the right place in...

I don't wanna write a lot! But for a 110$, I think we deserved a clean room! The bed was dirty! I slept on my towel because the pillow was visibly dirty. No wifi, no TV. So it is really stupid to pay that much of money for what they offer! Just go to Dar Alma! It is heaven!

We had the worst experience ever at Fanar resort! It's sad because the place could have been fantastic; but instead it is veryyyy dirty, we slept on our towel to avoid touching the bed, it surrounded by dust, they close the access to the hotel at 1am so you can't anymore got out to buy something to eat and they...

The auberge is kind of an old family house that has shifted in an auberge, the family stuff are still in the auberge which kind of makes a very nice environment. There is a terrace for afternoon coffees that is breathless and is worth spending an afternoon coffee at. As well, there is a small beach at the hotel and...

A wonderful place to spend a weekend. The restaurant by the sea lets you wonder while listening to latino music. The food is good and the service is fast. Lots of tourists so the place is always crowded.

When they say a place with soul, an enriching experience, a place with "charme".... This is exactly what is mean! This place is literally thousand years old. 900 to be accurate. If you are looking for a fancy five star hotel experience then this is not the place for you. But don't get me wrong this is not a backpacker's...

The hotel is right by the sea in a great location In thw Christian district of tyre. A minutes walk from the port area and 5 mins away from the old market. The food there in general was alright. however, You would expect the fish to be excellent but it's average as well. The rooms are spacious with a gorgeous...

We arranged for a getaway week-end in April 2014 at this charming cozy hotel in Tyre located right at the touch of the waves next to the city's abandoned lighthouse. The restaurant has amazing food and great terrace by the sea and next to its narrow beach strip. It was still low season time and the beach was really dirty...

stayed here for one night in mid-May 2013, following a suggestion from a friend living in Beirut. The location of the hauberge al-fanar next to the old lighthouse is great and the main reason to go there. The hotel is situated in an old building predating the French mandate and is featuring spacious rooms with sea-views. The furniture in our...
