Most lovely place. I sat out on the patio, drank some Talisker whisky and saw the Milky Way and shooting stars. Watched the sun creep over the loch. I must return! Music mist fun: got to play with locals. A. Highlight of trip. David and Beth

This was a lovely B&B. We had the family room on the top floor and had a lovely view of the hilltop and loch with the mountains behind. The room was a nice size and very clean. It was a nice walk to the center of town, maybe 10-15 min at most but well worth it. The proprietor was awesome...

Plockton is a great little village to stay in and the Hill View is without a doubt the perfect place for that stay. The price was spot on and we got exactly what we asked for room requirements wise. Sybill even gave us a room with a view of the water. Very clean place. Had absolutely no hesitations with staying here....

One of our greatest memory in Scotland... Sybill, her husband and her daughter were the nicest people we ever met. Great conversations, very caring et welcoming! They do the most they can for you to be satisfied. Anecdote? Arriving the first day, they asked us for what we would like to get for our breakfast. I ordered black pudding and...

After booking this B&B last minute before we left for our travels around Scotland, I was looking at the only pictures of Hill View which are on here and I will be honest, I was worried about the decor. On arrival, we were taken into a cosey and very clean double room with a lovely en-suite and a huge shower....

I stayed here for two nights and was made to feel very much at home. Sybil is really nice and knows plenty about the filming of Hamish MacBeth too! Had an 'oops' moment when, after washing my hair late at night, realised there was no hair drier. However, I appreciate I should have checked this beforehand. Breakfast was delicious, and...

The room was beautiful overlooking the beach and beautiful hills. The service provided and the advice given about local places and boating was excellent. I recommend Hillview to all the guests and I hope everyone has a wonderful stay.

Reasonably priced accommodation even if it is a bit dated. Clean spacious room with the most amazing view. Didn't find staff overly pleasant or helpful. Not too far a walk to the main street however, would not be suitable for less able people. Nice breakfast.

I stayed here for two nights, as part of tour of Skye and West Highlands through Rabbies. Sybil was friendly and nice. Room was comfortable, warm, cosy. The view behind the house is beautiful. Sybil made sure I was comfortable, had everything I needed and breakfast was a lot! It was lovely to meet Sybil and she was a genuinely...
