Rose Cottage is 10 minutes walk from the centre of Lochinver on a bend in the road next to the river. It has everything you would want for a stay in Lochinver. The very excellent Caberfeidh restaurant/bar and equally good Larder next door are well worth the vist for lunch or dinner. It's an honest cycle out to Point of...

Stayed for one week in one of these superb self-catering lodges just outside Lochinver - we were in "Cormorant" which had a double and a twin room so plenty of space for two, but could easily suit a family or two couples / a group of friends. Well equipped, scrupulously clean and comfy, fast wi-fi - and a stunning view....

The drive there is purging. The environment when you arrive is divine. The cabins are perfectly equipped to let you enjoy the surroundings. We love this place. Just love it. Walking, fishing, beaching, eating, even swimming if you brace yourselves. This place has it all. The cabins are remarkably sheltered, and right on the water's edge. You can regularly watch...

The lodges are clean, very well-equipped and good value. The Lodges' real selling point is a fabulous location next to the sea. There's plenty of space around the lodges so there's no feeling of the site being busy. A large grassed area provides a space for kids to throw a ball about without annoying anyone. We'll happily stay there again.

High standard of accomodation. Clean and comfortable. Fantastic location. We use it as a base for kayaking, fishing and walking, but want a good bed, power shower, proper kitcken, etc. Its our fourth vist, and the place is a lot better than many others we have stayed in

Received a very nice welcome from the owners and an informative chat about what there is to see & do in the area. The folder in the lodge was packed with info & ideas. I found Lochinver...

We've travelled many times the Assent / Coigagh region for hill walking. The most central and convenient place to say is Lochinver, for the shops and restaurants, and if you want self-catering accommodation in Lochinver, Lochinver Holiday Lodges is easily the best (and we've tried quite a few of the other options). The chalets, house and croft all offer something...

My partner and I have been coming to stay in Lochinver for walking holidays for nearly 20 years. We have stayed in the Lodges, and in Seashore and Rose Cottages and are now in the middle of a two week stay in Tigh a Chladaich, accompanied by some friends. All of the properties are lovely and the location in Strathan...

This is an extremely comfortable cottage in a stunning location of looking the small sea loch. The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Lovely touches on arrival - vase of flowers and welcome tray included a box of chocolates, a pack of Scottish shortbread biscuits and a pack of ground coffee. This was our second...
