As the title says we cannot fault the lodge, we were so relaxed on the 4 nights we stayed there. Everything we wanted was inside the lodge and were lucky enough to sit on the decking in the sun till sunset. The gated are for the dog was the main reason we went and he loved it was about 4 acres and he just ran and ran with no problems of escape. The location is good only 5 minutes into the centre of Jedburgh and an easy drive to Kelso etc. Was so good we have booked it again for later in the year

Having never stayed in a lodge before, I was a little apprehensive. However, as soon as we arrived and stepped into the lodge, I was pleasantly surprised by the clean, comfortable and well equipped accommodation, which included a full size cooker, microwave and small dishwasher. We had everything needed for our stay and were thankful for the quality mattress which made for a great night's sleep. The décor was very tasteful and the location was quiet and yet near to Jedburgh. We stayed for a week and I would have liked to have stayed longer. There are many places to visit and beautiful walks on the doorstep. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, so although we were in a fairly remote location, I knew company was near to us. I would certainly recommend Spinney Lodge.

We went to stay in the spinney lodges for a weeks holiday everything you need was there ,from pots n pans to bedding towels etc and a great comfy bed. and nothing was too much trouble with Sandra and graham living on site , And the added value of a fully enclosed 2 acre field for the dogs to run free in and they even have a dog bin and poo bags too , this is the perfect get away if you need to take your pets with you. The area is a great central location to easy reach Edinburgh, Newcastle of the east coast of Berwick on Tweed and surround areas

We had a very nice stay at the Spinney. The Lodge is lovely – very clean and a real home from home. It’s a great base to stay if you are wanting to explore Jedburgh/Kelso. We would highly recommend as great base for visiting The Boarders.

Lovely place to stay , easy to find and just 2 miles from Jedburgh,. We were made very welcome when we arrived by Sandra and both her and Graame were on hand during out stay if we needed anything. The lodge is warm comforting and very well maintained, Every thing you need is available and in excellent condition. A large paddock is available to excerise the dogs and they loved it. I highly reccomend this rental to anyone who likes the peace and quiet of a rural location with shops and many historical sites to visit close by. Thansk to Sandra and Granme for a wonderful stay.
