I have stayed at this B&B several times now and I love it! It is so quiet and peaceful, perfect if you have dog/s as there is plenty of space to exercise them and they can come in your room. Breakfast is lovely! The rooms are small, but all en suite and comfortable beds! Tea & Coffee provided in the...

Staying in the area for work, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Ferniehurst. It's about 2 1/2 miles from Jedburgh in a very quiet spot. Christine is really warm, with loads of really interesting facts and info about the local area and surrounding wildlife. She welcomed us with a delicious pot of tea, and water straight from the source -...

Nice quiet place tucked out of the way down a long concrete drive on a hill on the far side of a valley. Clean room and excellent host with lovely views. I liked the 'interesting' bridge over the river, patrolled by a magnificent cock pheasant!

I cannot believe this place still operates as a b & b guesthouse. The proprietor clearly no longer wants to do it, but still takes your money, moans about your presence, says she almost refused, and houses you in a VERY basic room. Mine had no TV, no clock, no heating, tattered velux window blind, smelly bedding. Breakfast was ok...

Ferniehirst is located just a few minutes drive south of Jedburgh. Rooms were comfortable and well-appointed. The hostess is very friendly and informative. A generous breakfast was had in a lovely room overlooking foliage, birdlife, etc.

My husband and I stayed at Ferniehurst for 2 nights. the room on the ground floor was a very small double, it was very small. The bed was comfortable. Ferniehurst lacks attention to detail and the decor is dated. The exterior of the house in particular is untidy and shabby. The bedroom was very clean, the communal lounge and dining...

Well worth the trip over the bridge. A friendly kind home away from home. Animal friendly and bonus of horses and riding for accomplished adults.
