We stayed in Wild Rose Cottage for 6 nights with our two children and would definitely recommend! It was relaxing and cosy with central heating and an open fire, comfy beds and beautiful views. On arrival we were greeted with a tea tray and home made cake on the kitchen table. The owners were lovely and gave us advice on...

Had a great stay with my family in Wild Rose Cottage. It was well equipped and the garden was perfect for an Easter Egg hunt. Lucy was a great host and pointed us in the right direction for loads of kid friendly activities. Will be beack.

We went in half term and most places were shut and dont open until late March/ early April. We managed to find the odd day trip out and made our own fun. The holiday...

Just had a weekend at Bairnkine. Lovely cottage. Everything you could possibly need. My son spent most of his time in the games room and learning how to keep a log fire burning! Thanks to Lucy for the flapjack and for the offer to see the lamb hospital. Unfortunately the weather stopped us getting there and we also had family...

If you are seeking a ‘true’ cottage in The Borders with ample room, yet remaining warm and cosy, I can thoroughly recommend you come to Owl Cottage. The views are magnificent, provides everything you could wish for in home comforts and felt more like a home swap rather than a holiday property. Read my full Diary of our week spent...
