The room wasn’t as expected at all for a deluxe room, but over all everything else was perfect, the nicest staff so helpful and the food in the bar and restaurant was beautiful, great fast service and so easy to make a reservation for the restaurant
Such a lovely hotel. Right in the center of the town so close to amenities. Lovely staff and gorgeous rooms. We stayed in the deluxe double room, the bed was huge, the room was nice and warm and we had complimentary bathrobes. Would definitely stay again!
Friendly staff and good food. But the hotel looks tired and could do with updating. Our room had a cracked sink and broken bed. We never complained as the room was clean. Also tea and coffee facilities need improving.
I booked this hotel 7 months ago for a 3 night stay in December 22 via booking.com. The night before I was due to stay (bearing in mind I was flying at 6am the next morning, my partners sister who was also staying at this hotel said that she had an email that her room had been cancelled. She then told myself and her parents who also were staying in this hotel so we all phoned the hotel directly just to double check as we hadn’t received any cancellation. The hotel said oh yes you are on the list to be cancelled. Thus was at 10.30pm at night. I said you have taken my money through booking.com for the stay you have all of my information yet at 10.30pm at night you still fail to call your customers to explain YOUR mistake - not booking.coms or even have the decency to apologise to your guests for what an absolute mess you caused. This was booked 7 months ago so had more than enough time to see you had overbooked your rooms. Not the night before. The hotel than claimed to have informed booking.com of this on 6th December and 13th of December via email from the manager sharon so they completely took the blame of their selves onto booking.com. I asked for proof of this and they would not be send it. Funny that .. Booking.com explained they had only received direct contact from the hotel 8 hours before they started to cancel rooms (the night before our stays) The hotel made no effort to find other hotels for our stay or take any bit of responsibility and just kept on blaming booking.com- It is entirely Treacys hotels mistake here for overbooking, not closing their diary to booking.com and for allowing money to be taken without even phoning their customers as a matter of urgency or even to booking.com rather than sending an email to them which is a very easy way out and cowardly. Both a lady and gentleman were both so blunt on the phone at Treacys and just kept saying to speak to booking.com, not any type of customer service from them at all. Of course they want booking.com to take the blame so they don’t have to take any responsibility for their mistake. We heard we were not the only people this happened to , and so many people had to find last minute bookings elsewhere which luckily we managed to but literally last minute. If we couldn’t have found anything we would have had to lose out on our flights / car hire costs and I’m definetly sure the hotel wouldn’t have taken any responsibility for the cost of what we could have potentially lost out on. I also heard not only did they cancel so many rooms last minute , they than had realised on the day they had cancelled too many rooms and started calling people to say that rooms had become available. How insulting! I would like to have thought a hotel of your standard would call your guests booked in to stay (also bearing in mind our money had been taken for the stay) to have empathy and apologise for your mistake. Take responsibility and maybe people wouldn’t have been so angry, everyone makes mistakes but the way you have dealt with it is pretty disgusting.…
Absolutely SHOCKING experience. Booked the hotel in July for a 3 night stay in December through booking.com Landed from England and received an email on the plane to notify us that the hotel had cancelled our booking due to “overbooking” We called the hotel and we’re told that they had cancelled a month and a half ago(a lie) as “they’d taken in Ukrainians” so now our room was no longer available (they gave our room away) and stated booking.com should of told us. After 2hours trying to find alternative accommodation (we couldn’t in the town as was now far too late) we called them again to see if there was anything they could do. Lady on the phone this time told us that they cancelled with booking.com on the 16th December and had the email as proof. Utterly (appalling considering the booking was made in July and they left it until the Christmas season to cancel when less people in the office etc. Staff were also quite blunt and rude tone and just kept blaming booking.com for not passing on the message sooner. Absolutely the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had. Highly recommend avoiding…
I had a most enjoyable experience. The room was very comfortable, the bed spacious and comfortable, the shower a little cramped but worked well. Dinner was delicious (ribs starter and duck main). Breakfast was very nice (fresh orange juice would have been nicer). Staff were professional and friendly. Throughout my stay, there were no delays or hiccups.
The room was very clean, the staff were great, the breakfast was lovely and the hotel was well located. But the room was in the attic and the ceiling was so low I had to keep ducking down. Also a bit dated
The only issue was clarity on where to park as the overflow carpark is not signposted. Overall a great weekend stay, staff extremely friendly and great atmosphere in the bar at nighttime and relaxed during the day. Rooms very quiet.
Always happy to drop into Treacys Hotel in Enniscorthy for a night or two. Great food available and wonderful entertainment with resident entertainers including some excellent bands. Staff are always pleasant and accommodating from the get go, and an added bonus is the leisure centre directly across the road which can be used free of charge. Carparking is also free, but if you want to leave the car at home, the train station is a two minute walk away. Keep an eye out for their dining specials. Absolutely great value.
I do use this hotel on a regular basis and always find my room neat and clean , the staff very friendly and helpful ,the choice of food is good and it's always nice to have good entertainment which is why I keep coming back .
