We were only there for a short time but the experience was great. The rooms were big and clean. The bed was very comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast in The Moorings restaurant. The dinner was nice and the service was excellent. The full Irish breakfast was one of the best I've had. It was delicious. One tiny thing. The door on the second floor from the stairwell slams when people go through it. A small foam sticker thing on the frame will fix that. The staff were all really nice and attentive. We arrived a few hours before dinner and got some coffees from the coffee dock outside. They were just about to close but had no issue making up some beautiful coffees and the man working there gave us an extra bar which we really appreciated because we hadn't eaten anything since the morning. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay.

3 night birthday present for the wife. Arrived to a damp or moldy smell at the reception desk that didn’t go away (buy some Glade plug ins). In the room, the bottle of Prosecco was floating in water, ice had melted and the treats were rock hard (possible sitting all day, daughter did ring to say we would be arriving at 6pm). Cobwebs in the shower with mold all over the shower cubicle. Rusted soap dispensers. Grout dust inside the shower cubicle. Went for dinner the first night in the bar, it was ok. Booked the Alamo restaurant for the second night, we got handed the same menu as the bar, asked did they have a restaurant menu and was told no. Can’t see us booking this hotel again or recommending it.

Dear Reviewer, Thank you for choosing the Riverside Park Hotel for your recent stay in Co.Wexford. I am disappointed to hear your stay did not live up to your expectations. Unfortunately due to flash flooding in the whole county of Wexford over the Christmas period our facilities did experience damage from the river Slaney beside us and as a result we did experience some dampness issues for the first week of January while the basement dried out. These issues have since been rectified and unfortunately totally outside our control. At the moment both our Prom Bar and Alamo Steakhouse Restaurant do in fact have the same menu. We are currently working on New Menus for both restaurants as restrictions lift and we are allowed more chefs in our kitchens. Regarding your Proescco and treats, these were given complimentary by the hotel as your daughter had said it was a special occasion, we do not have any notes made of your arrival time. The last thing our accommodation team do is leave extras in guests rooms, as the weather during your stay was extremely cold our heating would have been on and the ice melted, if you had called reception we would have been happy to replace your ice. All of our bedrooms were newly renovated in 2020, I will be speaking to the housekeeping team regarding your note on cobwebs, thank you for bringing this to my attention, I would have loved to speak with you myself during your say to address your concerns and to rectify them. I do hope to have the opportunity to change your opinion and welcome you back to stay with us again as you can see from our reviews customer service is of our utmost important. Warmest Regards, Jim Maher, General Manager.

Just back from a short post-Christmas family stay. Despite the ongoing Covid struggles and restrictions, our experience was flawless. From the moment we checked in, every single staff member deserves credit for their efforts ensuring that the Riverside Park operated at the very highest and professional standard expected. Our family room was very spacious, easily accommodating our 3 children in 3 separate single beds. Unfortunately the main restaurant wasn't open as we had travelled mid week, however the Alamo and Bar food was plentiful and gorgeous. The pool area was well managed, clean and enjoyed. We would definitely look at returning to the Riverside Park in the future. Staff and management- take a bow!

We decided to have a night over here with the two boys mainly because it had a pool. It was also good to just get away. Check-in, pretty efficient. Only one lift working for the whole time we were there. A bit of a pain (being on the third floor) as the staff also had to use the same lift too. The room was fine. A fold up bed to make the fourth, but it was comfortable enough for a 6 year old. The bed linen was a bit tired. The room was clean and warm but not huge. The bar for food was really busy and the service a bit hit & miss. Starters and mains arrived very quickly, but then ages and ages before dessert. And if you want decent food, avoid the bar. It really was gastro-pub type stuff. Breakfast was excellent though. Good choice and tasty. The pool was good though. Set times because of you-know-what. For some reason they said the changing rooms weren't supposed to be used. No explanation as to why and everyone did anyway. It's a good location for town, ample parking and spacious. A reasonable place to stay, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Dear Tom, Thank you for choosing The Riverside Park Hotel & Leisure Club for your recent trip to Co. Wexford. It is great to get such response on our scenic location along the banks of the river. I am disappointed to hear our Prom Bar did not live up to your expectations, as you can see from the many great reviews our dining options are very popular. Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. Due to Covid-19 policies in place it is not possible to facilitate everyone using the changing rooms at the one time. I look forward to welcoming you back in the future and if you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact me directly. Kind Regards, Jim Maher, General Manager.
