Detailed Reviews
Just back from our family holiday in Ireland, we were very impressed with Teach Failte B&B. Our group included three family generations including teenagers who loved the wi fi, mum who found the place 100% spotless and granny and grandad who loved all the home cooking. We also have a very fussy sixteen year old daghter who gave Teach Failte a five star rating. We would definitely reccommend Teach Failte and will be returning.

From the moment we arrived at Teach Failte we were impressed by the warm welcome and high standard of accommodation. The rooms were spacious and very clean with all the room facilities required by members of our family group including wifi, to the delight of our teenagers. The hot scones with coffee/ tea on arrival were excellent and the breakfasts were of the same high standard, we particularly enjoyed the porridge and also the Irish traditional brown bread. We hope to return again in the not too distant future to experience again the truly warm Irish welcome, thank you Kay for helping to make our recent trip to Ireland so enjoyable.

I stay at Teach Faitle for four nights in July, having travelled to Enniscorthy to visit my sister who lives there. I travelled with my elderly Mother , who was in her late 80's. We stayed in the Lavender Room and Kay , the proprietor could not have been more welcoming and generous with her time and care. Our room was on the ground floor at the front of the house, very close to the breakfast room. Our room met our needs, as my Mother, struggles to walk any distance now, and has poor vision, and the room was bright and airy, with a wonderful shower and en suite. The room itself was spotlessly clean and well furnished. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and had more than adequate provision of bedding ...........................even an electric blanket! ( We were lucky we had good weather, so it wasn't needed!). Hot water was always available, and the shower was a shower and not a drip from a shower head! There was a TV, DVD player, tea/coffee making facilities and a hairdryer in the room, and Kay attended to every need, during our stay.
The Breakfast room was beautifully appointed and decorated bright, but very tradtionally, which brightened the start to the day. Breakfast itself was wonderful, far too much for Mum and I to eat, but cooked perfectly every morning, with fresh croissants, fruits, cereals and yogurts on offer, alongside a huge cooked Irish Breakfast, which set us up for the day. Most importantly for us the Tea was a smashing cuppa! Kay was very keen to ensure you enjoyed your stay and regularly enquired if we had everything required. She took an interest in our day ahead and spent a few minutes every morning offering that personal touch, by showing her interest. She is a fabulous lady and offers a great stay at Teach Failte.
I visit Enniscorthy at least four times a year and when travelling with my Mum I usually stay at a local hotel nearby, however, a friend of my sister, who is local recommended Teach Failte and I am forever grateful she did, as I will always stay there now , when I return to visit my family. Great B&B, Great Service, Excellent value and wonderful host.

Stayed here while attending a wedding in Enniscorthy. We were greeted warmly by the host with freshly baked scones and tea. Clean rooms, quiet location, perfect for attending functions in Enniscorthy (we were even offered a lift into Enniscorthy such was the hospitality). You don't get too many like this anymore. And the breakfast.........delicious!

I stayed one night in Teach Failte as I was on some business in the area. I stay in lots of B&Bs as I travel a lot for work so I have seen quite a variety of places but Teach Failte was one of the best to date.
The room was spacious and spotless with lovely wooden floors and pine furniture. The room also had tea and coffee facilities and a tv/dvd player and wireless internet which worked. (Lots of places say they have wireless but it rarely works)
The beds were super comfortable and the sheets were like silk! My favourite part was the electric blanket on the bed! I stayed during a particularly cold snap and was toasty warm all night. The shower was amazing and strong with loads of hot water and there was a great hairdryer in the room too.
Kay and Paul were great hosts and could not do enough for their guests.
All in all it was a great stay and I will definitely stay there again if I am in the area.

This is one of the best of a number of B&Bs we stayed in on a recent trip to Ireland. We booked ahead and the whole booking process was very smooth and efficient. Welcomed on arrival with tea and hot scones, we settled into very nice rooms with excellent furniture and all amenities for a B&B. Service was very friendly, and this was the best breakfast we were served in our entire trip. Beautiful farm eggs, bacon and sausage cooked just right, and all the trimmings. Excellent food, an art to get such a breakfast not greasy, but Kay did it.
The furniture in the house is high quality and has a pleasant cottage feel, there is a pleasant front room and a very nice garden. Our room was spacious ans the shower roomy, with an excellent hot water shower en suite. Beds were not quite as firm as we would like, and the pillows were too firm, but otherwise everything was perfect.

I was in Wexford for work and didn't want to drive back to Dublin, so I booked Teach Fáilte for one night. I was welcomed from the first second I arrived and treated to a lovely warm scone and pot of tea on arrival. The room was large with an excellent shower and satellite TV. Breakfast was delicious and I can only recommend Teach Fáilte. A house of welcomes indeed.

I booked on line before leaving the States. Kay and Paul O'Meara were great hosts. It was the first B&B for part of our party...They were very pleased. Warm scones and tea upon arrival. Great Irish Breakfast! As of my trip they only took.... cash so be prepared. I'd stay again!

After a long day of travel we got a lovely clean room and best homemade scones.
The rooms were so nice, big and clean. and the breakfast was terrific. Kay, the host, was very helpful with the places around, and did her best to help and provide all the information. Highly recommended!
