Anyone looking for the perfect place to call home while on vacation, look no further! Imelda's country cottage was the perfect place to come "home" to each night. The cottage, located in mid-Ireland, is conveniently located to many of the top tourist destinations. The cottage is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath guest house situated on beautiful farmland. The main house...

We stayed at this B&B as it was nearest to Castle Oliver, where a friend was having his wedding reception. Book a cab in advance if you attend a wedding there (it cost us a tenner from Castle Oliver to the B&B so good value). The hostess is perfect - she will not have you inconvenienced under any circumstances and...

Flemingstown is a lovely farmhouse full of beautiful furniture in a pretty part of the country.it also has an exceptionally accomodating hostess. We were welcomed with tea and scones Irish style in the kitchen (the engine of the house) before going to our beautifully furnished and spacious en suite room. We had booked dinner and Imelda's spread did not dissappoint....

If we could sum up our visit at Flemingstown House in one word, it would be "Magical!" We arrived late after dark after being lost and not sure of the left hand side of the road driving, and Imelda and her husband Martin stayed up to greet us warmly. They showed us to a gorgeous room, and invited us into...

At this point we have been travelling eight weeks and B&B'ing nightly. Our initial plan was to stay only one night. However after experiencing Imelda's warm welcome, caring attitude & home cooking we ended up staying four nights. The property is in a quite rural setting surrounded by paddocks of green dotted with her black & white bulls. The rooms are...

Set in fields and removed from the intrusion traffic noise, it looks out ove the Ballyhowra Mountains. Its excellence revolves around the proprietor, Imelda Sheedy-King whose attention to detail is impeccable. Her warmth of welcome creates an amibence of friendly relaxation and her culinary...

Imelda Sheedy King is one of the nicest people we met in Ireland. She was warm and welcoming and a wealth of information on places for us to visit. She made us tea and scones upon arrival and tea again in the evening. Her breakfast was one of the best we had during our trip. Flemingstown House is completely amazing...

My partner and I were attending a wedding in nearby Castle Oliver. We stayed here and it turned out to be the nicest guest house either of us has ever stayed in. The house itself is over 250 years old. It's very homely and oozes character and warmth. The welcome we got was genuine and really made this a special...

End of our stay in Ireland in this lovely B&B. Imelda is the perfect hostess, lavishing us with tea, scones and cakes on our arrival. The reception rooms are full of antiques and family history. The bedroom was spacious and very comfortable. Imelda cooked a wonderful Irish breakfast, along with an assortment of cut fruits, yogurts, breads, jams, cereals -...
