What a wonderful christmas we have all just spent. My husband and our 3 adult children plus a few other members of our family, arrived on Christmas Eve to be greeted by the Very Special Imelda. Scones and a cup of tea were awaiting us in the beautiful family kitchen. The house was amazing, warm, comfortable, peaceful, you really feel...

This is our first trip to Ireland and we wanted to see as much of the country as possible. We decided to stay in Kilmallock and make that our home base so we could branch off for day trips. GREAT CHOICE! Not only is the house perfectly situated for us, it is comfortable and welcoming. Imelda- the landlady - welcomed...

10 of us, family and friends, stayed 8 days this October. Plenty of room for privacy and gathering. The dining table held every one for evening dinners. Great location for day trips around western Ireland. Very quaint town with very friendly, helpful folks. Can't say enough good things about the owner, Imelda. She is tops in the hospitality business and...

Almost every year we (a group of five couples) rent a house somewhere in Europe and spend a week resting or travelling in the immediate area. I can state with confidence (backed by the unanimous vote of my friends) that nowhere else in our 15 years experience was the lodging of such high quality, the hospitality so grand, and at...

We had the pleasure of staying at Flemingstown House for 5 days and nights in July, 2015. It is hard to convey the absolute comfort that this house provides travelers. The beds were fantastic! Just what we needed after 14 hour days of exploring the beauty of Ireland ever day. The house was very clean and offered all the comforts...

A huge property with beautiful old world furnishings and the sweetest host you can imagine. Imelda greeted us with an incredible Irish coffee made with freshly whipped cream that was to die for as well...

Imelda has a gem of history in her wonderfully kept large house on a sprawling piece of land. The furniture, decorations, and stained glass are a joy to experience. She is an excellent cook who prepares everything as you desire and serves it in her elegant breakfast room. She knows everything about the surrounding area and readily provides valuable information...

We have stayed twice with Imelda, and what a pleasure it was. She is a hostess who cares about her guests. Your bed will be crisp, clean, and sleep like a dream and you will not believe the breakfast. This is a quiet farm setting....lovely.
