Staff were very friendly and there was a relaxed atmosphere. We had lovely views of Lough Swilly whilst eating our excellent breakfast. There was a variety of choice of fruits, cereals along with a choice of cooked breakfasts. Accommodation was clean and very comfortable and both my husband and I had a good nights rest. It was very convenient for us as we were attending a wedding near hand at the Red Door Restaurant. Would have no hesitation in recommending this bed & breakfast to anyone visiting the area.
This is the second time we have stayed at Marine View, the previous was in 2014. Once again, we had a lovely time. The rooms are spacious and spotless and the views are amazing. Sean and Madge were fabulous hosts.
Beautiful B & B situated in a magical spot, Fahan. The house had a fabulous character all of it's own. The proprietor, Sean was a brilliant host, ever efficient, cheerful and very welcoming. Breakfast was so healthy and very appetising with fruit and scrambled eggs. Other choices were available. The surroundings were awesome, amazing views and ample places to walk. I'll be back soon.
This b&b is simply perfect ! I've spent two nights there with my family and my dogs! The room was super clean and spacious! Was quiet and simply perfect! The bathroom was big and the shower great. The breakfast is delicious with fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt , coffee teas bread and the owner cooks every morning whatever you choose from the menu! I strongly recommend you this place!!!
It's one of the best B&B I've stayed in! The location is fantastic and easy to find, and the view from our bedroom was just breathtaking! The breakfast was super, the room spacious and the bed really comfortable. The bathroom clean and big and the fridge with complimentary snacks and water was just the cherry on top! Sean is an amazing host! He also gave me a lift to Buncrana in the morning to collect my car which I left there the night before. If you are looking for the perfect B&B you will probably find it here.
We returned once again to stay for two nights at our favourite Guest House. Sean and Viola made us very welcome as usual. Even leaving us a red rose on our bed for Valentines Day! Our en suite room was big, exceptionally clean and had everything you may need for a great weekend stay. The breakfast was amazing - such an array of gorgeous food! and always to such a high standard - lovely homemade wheaten bread! Thanks Sean and Viola we look forward to seeing you in the summer!
I stayed for only one night at Marine View B&B. I was made to feel very comfortable as soon as I arrived, greeted by Sean and shown to my room and where all of the facilities were. I was lucky enough to have access to a jacuzzi bath, which was much appreciated as I had walked from Mizen Head. My bed was very warm and comfortable and I had a very good night's sleep! The views from the b&b across the marina were amazing, and the beach is just a short distance away - Sandy beaches are just a short distance up the road too. Fahan is a quaint town with an interesting history about it - would recommend a visit and staying @ marine view.
We stayed at the Marine view for 5 nights with our daughter Jackie, where Sean and Viola made us very welcome. The breakfast was delicious with good choice. Viola makes wonderful bread using her mothers recipe and made us some excellent fruit scones. Our bedroom was fantastic over looking the sea where we could see the sailing boats. There is an excellent restaurant within walking distance, where we enjoyed an excellent grill. It was called firebox. We certainly hope to return to Marine view.

Sean and Viola are wonderful attentive hosts. Breakfast was fresh and offered a few non traditional options that were wonderful. Her Frittata was awesome as was the gluten free bread they offered for my son! The home is beautifully restored with lovely wood floors and stained glass. Interestingly, there is a lovely small church behind the house that is charming and always open for a visit. There are two great pub restaurants near by that you can walk to. There are many local attractions they can tell you about (if the coast isn't enough) including wonderful drives in Donegal. The two upstairs rooms we were in had huge windows over looking the water. We can't wait to return...
