unbelievable property with a fantastic view over the lough. the host couple were very welcoming to their beautiful home. the place was spotless and beautifully furnished. The views are absolutely amazing both from the outside terrace but even from the bedrooms!
My girlfriend and I stayed at Sea Vista over a long weekend in August. It was truly stunning. Fantastic hosts, fantastic location and a real treat to have a few days there. 5* without a doubt. Pierce.
Came here as a couple for a romantic getaway and was blown away by this place!!!! The views were spectacular! The accommodation itself was unbelievably clean and modern. The host was lovely! She had awesome recommendations on things to do in the area and made a reservation for us for dinner at the nearby Railway Tavern (which was fantastic!) The Rathmullan bedroom was spacious, had amazing views (especially of sunset) and was super clean! (My ONLY critique was the shower over the bath but thats a personal thing!) The bathroom itself was huge. The downstairs living room was beautiful and would have been amazing to sit with a glass of wine. There was also a perfect space outside to sit on the sunloungers and take in the views. The breakfast was fab and again was served…
I’m just back from a three night stay in Sea Vista, it’s definitely my favourite B&B I have ever stayed in. With amazing views overlooking Lough Swilly, Lisfannon Beach and the marina, you find yourself staring out the window at the beautiful scenery in front of you. Rooms are spacious and furnished beautifully. Lynda and John are absolutely superb hosts who will go out of their way to help. Whether it’s directions, recommendations or whatever you need. They are there to help. Breakfast was beautiful, and Lynda and John are very accommodating, whatever time suits you best. You are completely left to your own devices and really made to feel at home. Small touches, like pastries on arrival, really make you feel welcome. Not to mention the bed is so comfy you are guaranteed a good…
The climb up to Sea Vista is definitely worth it as the views are breathtaking, and it was so peaceful. The room was beautiful and it had access outside to a private area where we could enjoy the sun outside. Linda and John couldn't do enough for us, the breakfasts were beautiful and they happily made all dinner arrangements for us. We can't wait to return.
We have just returned from a fantastic 3 days staying at the Sea Vista in Fahan. Beautiful location, very impressive property with amazing views of Lough Swilly and beyond. Lynda and John are excellent hosts and went out of their way to make our stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. Food wise, Railway Tavern in Fahan and Tank & Skinny's in Buncrana well worth a visit. We walked to both, the latter just as Storm Ciara was coming in! The Red Door in Fahan serves really good quality food in a very nice setting, but also very expensive. However the highlight of the trip was Glenveagh National Park. If you like a walk and a bit of history then this is a must visit.
A beautifully modern B&B with amazing views. Our room was spacious, comfortable and presented impeccably. Great breakfast - we both went for the fry. Ideal for a night out in the Railway Tavern (very cosy pub/restaurant) or Red Door restaurant, both of which are nearby.
The views are lovely. It is exactly as pictured. The room and bathroom are clean. The breakfast is adequate. It appeared to be instant porridge and basic sliced bread for toast. The owner Lynda was very nice and gave us a warm welcome.

We upgraded to the sea view room and OMG what a view. Highly worth it. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay here again. The owner was so friendly. Bed was so comfortable and breakfast was delightful! What a place. You are surrounded by the Atlantic ocean and can see for miles. The place was spotless and loved the little touches such as a cold glass bottle of water and 2 glasses were waiting for us on arrival. Very quiet. We also went to Tank and Skinnys by the beach for dinner - only 5 mins away ... amazing! Will definitely stay again and highly recommend.
