I recently stayed here on a Sunday night in November for my boyfriends birthday. Lynda was fab so friendly the house is amazing we actually booked to return for my birthday in may! The views the room everything about this place is so relaxing book it!
We can't thank Linda and john enough for the lovely stay at sea vista. The views were stunning, the property itself was modern and spotless. They couldn't be more helpful arranging taxis for us. And the breakfast was lovely. We will definitely be back.
We drove from the South of England in early September to visit North Donegal and Northern Ireland and the view alone from our Sea Vista bedroom was worth the long trip. Add in hosts Lynda and John who not only served great Irish breakfasts during our four day stay but also day trip advice. In my view the Inishowen 100 drive is a must but you will need an early start to enjoy the different scenes including the spectacular views from Grianan Ailigh and Knockamany viewpoint overlooking Five Finger Strand. Just two of the dozen or so ‘stops’ worth taking in. Everything about Sea Vista is extra special with glorious sunsets, This is a well deserved five star establishment and I can forgive the poor shower water pressure. We would love a return visit.
We had booked here for 1 night, but wished we could have stayed longer. Such a lovely B&B with stunning views over Lough Swilly, including Derry city on the horizon and Rathmullan on the opposite side, the evening sunset is gorgeous. Lynda and John were so welcoming and just the perfect hosts, nothing was too much when asked. Our bedroom was stunning, I think (not sure) there are only 3 rooms, ours had sitting area outside on balcony with the views as above. Breakfast was just perfect. A return in the near future will definately be on the cards.
I couldn’t rate John and Lynda’s B&B - (seems a strange way to describe Sea Vista) highly enough. Great hosts stunning views excellent facilities. There are only three rooms all of which are super but we stayed in the Lough Swilly Room which has a wonderful sweeping view from Londonderry in the distance to Rathmullan across the Lough and a large balcony/terrace with sun loungers They really have the most wonderful home - looking forward to returning.
Stayed here for 3 nights and loved everything about it. The views over Lough Swilley were breathtaking. Our hosts were friendly and had great recommendations on places to visit and where to eat and made the reservations for us. Breakfasts were superb. The room was stylish and the bed was so huge and comfortable. We stayed in Inch room. The outside seating area was perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine. The location was great for trips to Malin head, Port Salon beach, Fahad lighthouse, Murder hole beach and Derry city. So much more to explore, we would love to stay there again. Thank you
Lynda and John are wonderful hosts. They anticipate what you need like; chilled water for your room; restaurant bookings; golf course bookings. They served up fabulous breakfasts. The whole place was immaculate and super comfortable with great views on to the marina below and up and down Loch Swilly.
From entering and taking in the view to experiencing the warmest of welcomes on one of the stormiest days. Everything was faultless. Our room and the views were breathtaking, with the weather changing every hour we really couldn’t ask for more. Amazing attention to detail , friendly service but also very chilled. Breakfast was so lovely and we really did not want to leave. Enjoyed the banter and we will definitely be back. Thanks again for everything, Shaunà and Stephen
Thank you to Lynda and John for an amazing stay at Sea Vista. You are truly wonderful hosts and genuinely care that your guests thoroughly enjoy their stay. Your local knowledge certainly enhanced our stay with some great tips on places to visit and where to eat. We stayed in the Lough Swilly room which was very spacious with incredible views over the Lough and the marina. The Nespresso coffee maker, chocolates and luxurious toiletries all added to the boutique feel of the property. Fahan is a wonderful location to visit the North of Ireland and Northern Ireland. We flew into the City of Derry Airport which is 25 minutes from Fahan. We left Liverpool at 12.20pm and were in Fahan by 2pm! The Giants Causeway, Malin Head and Glenevin Waterfall are a must see. The Railway Tavern, Red Door Country Hotel and Sherpa Indian Restaurant area ll close by and offer great food options for an evening meal out. An amazing place and location. Well worth a visit!…
Lynda and John are the definition of the perfect hosts. Called Lynda the week before arrival and she gave us some very helpful tips of the area as it was the first time to visit. The views are breathtaking and Lynda was so welcoming, dropped us down to dinner and was full of information. we stayed in the lough swilly room which is gorgeous very comfortable bed and nicely decorated with all the finer details thought of. Breakfast was very tasty and again the view just topped it off. We only stayed one night but will definitely be back!
