Brilliant hotel, a proper wow hotel , rooms lovely although some are on the small side. Food exquisite the restaurant is situated on the moat which is stunning. Also there is a decking area around the edge of the hotel/moat which is great when its warm to enjoy a beer or 2

Old castle, smaller but excellent rooms, fantastic food. The drive in is just gorgeous. Surrounded by a moat with gardens and wild birds, like out of a post card. Super friendly staff, perfect stay, I could not ask for more.

Stay at castle is always romantic. Especially when it is combined with all achievement of technology. All rooms are unique and have a special theme. Architecture of the castle arouses admiration. Big park is worth spending 1-2 hours in the morning hours or in the afternoon. Hotel bar is located in a cosy small castle dining-room. Receptionists and waiters are...

Simply the most wonderful stay...great hotel, wonderful staff although I would like them to be a little more personal in the dining room...maybe just me but I like to talk to staff and have them talk to me. The grounds are simply divine and you cannot come here without walking round them. I cannot say enough about how divine this...

Arrived on late flight so didn't get to the hotel until after 11. The late night staff were very friendly, this was the problem in the past as they just didn't want to know you when arriving late. Room on the top floor, as usual, which was clean, large and comfortable. Good breakfast in the morning, all very fresh and...

The hotel looks nice and is set in beautiful gardens. The inside is quite outdated, the room was furnished with old looking rather than antique looking furniture, and the bathroom looked like straight from the 70s. The shower only had warm to hot water. It was hot inside the room even with the window wide open, and no air con...

We spent two wonderful, relaxing days at Wasserburg Anholt. This castle hotel has A LOT to offer. Guest rooms and hallways have huge exposed oak beams, and numerous portraits adorn the walls - obviously the owner's noble family doesn't need ancestry.com to trace their ancestors. Everywhere you look is a beautiful view, this is especially true for the restaurant. Built...
