After a 20 minute walk to reach Eagles Nest one was not disappointed. Spacious room with balcony overlooking the mountains. Good choice of food in a cosy environment with open fires & hot water bottles in our bed. Thoroughly recommend the water fall walk, but you do need walking boots.

We are writing a review as we were quite disappointed with our visit. We stayed two nights (though we originally planned to stay for 3) in the moonlight suite. We were really looking fwd to our stay given that the hotel sits amidst lovely deodar forest, bit away from the main town. However despite the lovely location (rating 5), the... More

Special thanks to Sanjeev Ajit and Vicky and of course Sapu and the rest of the staff for the comfortable stay. Thank you Bo and Sheila! What views from the rooms! Had the best time with the best views, food, yoga and an absolute hidden gem in the mountains. It's a special place for me. We had organic food, spring... More

We were 2 families (9people) An old charming guest house in the hills above Mcleodganj. Location - 5*, up in the hills and only accessible by hiking the last 1km upto the hotel. Views spectacular, peaceful. Quality of rooms - 2* the rooms were classic old style, but considering the amount of staff they had the cleanliness needs definite improvement.... More

Eagle's nest is a bit difficult to approach but once you get there it is completely worth it. It is not your everyday hotel where you have to worry about the prices of food that you're going to order or what they might charge you on certain things. Everyone is like a family here, you can just sit in the... More

Ended a trip to Northern India at the eagles nest, wow what a stunning location, superb views of the mountains, don't make our mistake by only staying two nights as there is so much to do and see. Comfortable rooms, good food and the hosts Sheila,bo and not forgetting spike are very accommodating. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We had decided on ‘Eagle’s Nest’ in upper Dharamkot, Mcleodganj, Dharamshala as our short family holiday trip in October of this year. Our minds conjured up a retreat hidden away a top a hill, surrounded by coniferous trees, looming snow covered mountains and perhaps shrouded by mist. Almost as if it was hanging in mid-air. We arrived in the afternoon... More
