I spent four nights in Mahogany Springs in August 2015 and the incredibly friendly and helpful staff at this beautiful lodge managed to exceed all of my expectations. A visit to the mountain gorillas had been a life-long dream of mine. When it looked as if I might have an opportunity to get away for a few weeks in the...

The lodge was absolutely beautiful, with amazing views of the mountains and surrounding area. The staff was extremely attentive; Abrahim was extremely accommodating and always there with a smile and to provide whatever you needed!

We had a three nights stay at the Mahogany Springs Lodge. It is a great place to stay if you want to relax from a Gorilla Trekking. The food was delicious and the staff attentive and very helpful (they even cleaned our shoes after the trekking: the shoes looked like new!). Daniel & Sandra from Switzerland

Absolutely loved our stay at Mahogany Springs. The staff are super friendly and amazingly helpful - really the nicest people you could hope to meet. We arrived at the hotel at about 11:30pm as our flight was delayed. Usually the generator goes off at 10pm and the restaurant and bar is closed but they kept it on especially for us...

Hi Graham, Thank you for the fantastic review! It is a shame that you only stayed 2 nights but you can always come back :-). We will be waiting for you. The restaurant and bar usually stay open until the last clients go to bed and in regards to the generator....well our 24 hour power should be back up shortly!...

The mountain gorillas tend to overwhelm everything else when you're in Bwindi, but Mahogany Springs is still a notable lodge. The facilities are great, and the staff are even better. They took care of us at every turn. I would go back in a minute. (And the huge mahogany tree for which it is named is truly impressive.)

I arrived at Mahagony Springs at dark, frustrated by the long car journey from Kampala. (you should fly if you can afford it) It was not as I expected - dark rooms, no electricity from 1030pm to 530am...and it was not cheap. However, was blown away by the friendliness and hospitality of the staff, esp David and Jotham, who, you...
