I stayed at the Savannah Resort Hotel for one night as part of a trip to Uganda and Rwanda. Accommodation is in bungalows of round shape, which consist of a small room with a table, a good-size sleeping room and an average size bathroom. Rooms are very clean, with crispy white bed-sheets and new towels. There is, however, really too...

Having lost the accommodation for our group at another resort over New Years Eve we were thrilled to be able to book into Savannah. We arrived very late after a long trip, but the staff were gracious and really to look after us as soon as we got there. They foresaw our every need and had us in our rooms...

After a 12 hour bus trip, a party of 15 of us arrived exhausted and hungry to the Savannah Resort. We arrived to find our rooms allocated and set up beautifully and a hot fresh meal waiting for us. The staff were friendly and attentive even though it was nearly midnight- so impressed. The grounds of the resort were well...

Our room was clean, well presented and comfortable. The Staff were simply outstanding. Very helpful, polite, and attentive. The food was good. Nelson took us on a tour of the NP and we found tree climbing lions. The hotel management provided a complimentary cake and sparkling wine for my birthday amidst NY celebrations. Our team had an excellent break here...

I enjoyed my two nights here, although the electricity on the first night was erratic. The room was very clean and comfortable. The food was good. The service was outstanding. The staff were most friendly and obliging. This is the only place I have ever stayed where they heat the tea/coffee cups! Full marks for attention to a small detail....

Savannah Resort Hotel in Western Uganda, near Bwindi National Park is truly a hidden pearl. Lush gardens, a golf course and landing strip near by and just 8 km to the Bwindi Gorilla trails. The hotel is well appointed pretty high class and well furnished. The rooms are pretty good too. If you need a retreat place this is it....

Went here for lunch one day but didn't actually stay in the hotel. The setting for food was lovely with lots of greenery and animal statues around. The food was really nice, quite pricey but worth a visit. I also recommend getting a cocktail as the one I had was very nice!

I've stayed here twice in connection with visits to Ishasha sector of QENP. It's a nice place to stay - nice restaurant, good customer service, nice bandas/rooms, hot water (well, not super hot, but hot enough), clean rooms...it's not as fancy as some other places in the Ishasha sector, but you're not paying those prices either. It's very quiet.
