We spent 3 nights here as we did 2 gorilla treks. The lodge overlooks the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and really puts you into the spirit of things. The staff was very warm and welcoming and could not have been more attentive and accommodating to our needs. Food was really delicious but the portions were large and the lunches they packed...

Great place to stay if visiting the park to see the Gorillas. Lovely reception/dining area with log fire lit each night. Only wifi in this area, not in the rooms, but this didn't bother us. Great views of the jungle from each room. A short nature trail down to the river on site. Staff were really lovely. Nice food -...

After a long day in the car having travelled from Kigali, Rwanda, we arrived really late at this delightful gem. Dinner had been kept warm, the staff were amazing and the accommodation was just appropriate with incredible views of the impenetrable forest right before us. Stunning...worth another more relaxing visit.

Beautifully appointed main area overlooks the Impenetrable Forest, great location, warm, welcoming & attentive staff, food is elegantly prepared & delicious, guest houses are lovely & very comfortable. It was the perfect respite with many amenities to make our visit special. The open air main area provided a beautiful setting for our gourmet meals or for relaxing in the afternoon...

We greatly enjoyed our stay here and Tedeo and the staff looked after us extremely well. The food was good and served with a flourish. Sitting round the open fire in the cool of the evening was a pleasure. Hot water bottles were offered if you wanted them. Tedeo went out of his way to look after us, getting a...

Set amongst the Bwindi forest, this is an amazing location. The open air communal area, where fires are lit and meals served is simply magical. The rooms themselves are comfortable but not fancy - but be warned everything is damp as you are in a rain forest. The service was amazing - from changing our flat tyre to scrubbing our...

The staff (all male) couldn’t do enough for us though, to be fair, we were the only two people staying there for the two days we were there. The cottage was relatively small with only a curtain between the bedroom and the bathroom (so there were no secrets). There were no electrical outlets in the cottage but there was a...

Visited Engage lodge and the staff were very receptive right from the gate up to inside the lodge. Nice place to be since it is welcoming. Located right on the foot of the Forest with which makes it very cold especially at night. You actually in the forest itself. Don't miss it
