3 hour drive from the Nairobi airport, its located in a isolated setting. Has a water hole and a salt lick. The rooms overlook the water hole. Saw buffaloes, rhinos and impalas. The lodge is very neatly maintained. Food is also good. Definitely I will recommend anyone to stay.

The lodge is 2,134 m above sea level and situated on the lower slopes of Mount Kenya. It has a water hole and salt lick right next to it which is lit up at night. There is also a tunnel that takes you to a hide even nearer to the waterhole. Staff will let you know if anything interesting comes...

Interesting place with all rooms overlooking a water hole which can come to life at night with various animals watering there. The staff will wake you if you want to see a particular animal and don't want to sit up all night. The nights are cold as this is at altitude so bring warm clothing. The meals were good and...

In 20 years of travel the room supplied would have to be the smallest one i have ever stayed in, barely room for two people to walk around, filled with chairs that we had to remove so we could walk in it. You could not turn around in the shower without hitting your elbows it was that small, had to...

There is a tree house feel to this lodge which means the rooms are small but very nicely set up , food is delicious and wildlife viewing never disappoints. Staff could not be more friendly and good value for money

This is a beautiful small lodge located at the slopes of Mount Kenya. The main attraction of the lodge is a natural pool in which wild animals come to drink from, especially during the night. The pool is mesmerizing as wild animals wander around it during the night and you can watch them from your room, a roof balcony or...

The exterior of this lodge is rustic, all stained green to fit in with the setting. It backs up on a watering hole where we saw elephants, hyenas, water bucks, impala and a cape buffalo during our short stay. The rooms are a bit small, but that's the price you pay for the scenery. The food at the restaurant was...

This is a lodge like a large tree house. Narrow stairways and passages. Unique and rustic. Food was good. Service average. Rooms are small. cosy and clean, with awesome view of the water hole, which attracts buffalo, elephants and deer in abundance. If there are any animals you wish to see, you can let the staff know and they will...

What a wonderful place, myself and my other half stayed here and we couldn't be happier! The people there were absolutely delightful, the food was delicious and the view of the waterhole was just amazing!
