I am very grateful that I was able to stay at Jolanda's during the Corona crisis, I had come back from the Wadi Rum with the group I was travelling with earlier and Jolanda helped us, reassured us and thought along with us. Beautiful location within walking distance to Petra. Our room was large and clean with a shady back terrace and with views over the mountains. Both Jolanda and Fadhi were generous with their time and advice on the best trails. We had our two children with us and they were happy to field all their questions. The fossil hunt and newly hatched chicks were an added bonus. The locally cooked food was fantastic. One of the best and most memorable places we have ever stayed and we're booked to go back.

I highly recommend this wonderful guest house. For one, the location is superb. It has a wonderful view and is a great place to experience the sunset and see the little lights come on in town. While it is perfectly quiet and peaceful, the guest house is still within walking distance from the world heritage site and the main, touristy street with shops and restaurants. Secondly, the rooms are comfortable and clean. Probably the most wonderful aspect of this place are the hospitable owners. They go out of their way to make their guests feel at home, to provide them with information and they are very flexible (for example about scheduling breakfast or dinner according to the wishes of their guests). The place evokes a homely feel with its cozy living room and hosts who connect with their guests on a personal level. It made me feel comfortable enough to offer my assistance in the kitchen. It was great fun to learn more about the tasty Jordan cuisine. And lastly, I also recommend the guest house for its tasty food. I hope to be back one day!…

What a great place to stay in Petra. A wonderful warm welcome from our host who has lots of local knowledge and the right connections. She also understands what travels want and can help you to get the best experience while there. Great views from the B7B and perfect location to visit Petra and get away from the crowds, enjoying the sunset and relaxing in her gardens.

Jordan is an amazing country to travel. We felt safe, the people are very friendly and helpful. The country side is beautiful.We walked over 9 miles a day for 2 days around Petra and it was just astonishing. We stayed 3 nights in the lovely Fig Tree Villa in Wadi Musa. The host, Jolanda, made us feel at home, right away. Really lovely place, with aa gorgeous view. We really enjoyed watching the sunset from the porch. Breakfast, lunch-to-go and dinner were healthy and yummy. Will definitely go back to the fig Tree Villa, can absolutely recommend!
