Petra Moon Hotel is located in an ideal position - just a stone's throw away from the Petra entrance, but not right on the main road so you don't get any noise from the street. Our room (a double room) was also quite spacious with a separate sitting area and a large bedroom. The buffet dinner was tasty though we...

Petra Moon was clean and simple. However, manage your expectations because compared to other cities, this hotel is not 3.5 stars. There is not much sightseeing in the city, but the hotel is in an excellent location for walking to Petra and restaurants.

My family of 4 stayed in a huge family room in Petra Moon for 2 nights in December 2014. Excellent service and reasonably priced. We had the fortune to chance upon Ogla, owner of the hotel as well as a tour guide, who provided excellent advices and tips on trekking and food options. We followed Ogla's advices and was able...

I recently stayed two nights in this hotel and was happy with my experience. The staff is friendly and they offered us some delicious tea on arrival. The room was nicely decorated and clean. As part of the tour we had booked, we were entitled to free breakfast and also complimentary dinner at their buffet. The buffet, while not world-class,...

You can't get a better deal for the price and location of this hotel. A short 1-2 minute walk down a hill and you're at the main entrance to Petra. We booked a room for 3 people and were given a spacious room that had everything we needed. Our booking included wifi and breakfast and both were excellent. The staff...

Petra Moon is an average size hotel which features a breakfast and dinner buffet. We only stayed one night, but enjoyed the food offered for morning and evening. The room was of good size and the bathroom was clean. There was a distinct foul water smell in the washroom, but we got over it when we saw that the water...

It's near the entrance of Petra and good location as it's a short walk back to the hotel after the long and tiring walk in Petra. Wifi is not free but you can get wifi in Petra and in the public area. Breakfast and dinner was mediocre local fare. We walked to Movenpick to take a look and it looks...

This is not a luxury hotel so if that is what you are looking for, stop reading this and book the Movenpick. If you are looking for a hotel close to the entrance of the Petra World Heritage site that is affordable, comfortable, and clean, book the Petra Moon. It has nice rooms, clean bathrooms, a restaurant, and strong Wifi...

I wouldn't stay there again, but it's bearable for one night. Clean and comfortable, with a good variety of local dishes available in the restaurant on the ground floor. You pay for what you get here as the more expensive rooms look much better than the regular rooms. It's locale is extremely convenient if you are visiting the Petra Heritage...

The room was clean and comfortable! Very near to Petra too. We had buffet dinner and breakfast, food was good with variety. There was free Wifi. I stayed with my group of friends, our first hotel in Jordan.
