The hotel is about 10 minutes away from Petra gate but its totally worth it!! I saw the hotels that were just by Petra gate and they were not forth coming. . Unless you have money to spare to pay a 5 star hotel, but I don't see the point of that because at Amra Palace I promise you its...

The hotel is rather far from the main entrance to the Petra archeological site but is rather cheap with everything for a one-night stay. There is also a small swimming pool which is nice as a refresher after a day visit in Petra. The food and drinks are rather minimla but ok.

This hotel was adequate but outdated and in need of refurbishment. The bed was very comfortable and we were exhausted after a long day walking around Petra so we slept well. The water pressure in the bathroom was poor so it took ages to have a shower. Be aware that the hotel is across the road from a mosque which...

Stayed here on 14th-16th May -2016. Excellent location, free wi-fi and shuttle to Petra visiting center are the main plus points of this hotel. Staff is very helpful and go out of their way to help you. Special mention of Mr. Fayez, Ms. Ryana and Ms. Julien at the reception, all always eager to help and provide guidance. Our room...

This place is a gem for people who have a car as it is located in town, 10mns drive from Petra site. There is a heated indoor pool. The bedding is amazing. The room is small for the region standards but if you are used to tiny rooms in NY or European cities hotel, this is ok for you. The...

Stayed here for 2 nights when we visited Petra. The room was small and old looking. The carpet was very worn out. I would prefer without any carpets. However the bed was big and comfortable. For some strange reasons the air-cond don't work at night..it was so hot and sweaty...in the day it's nice and cool. We complained to the...

We stayed 2 nights with our daughter in march and had a very good stay. Our room was comfortable and silent. We appreciate the very friendly staff and the breakfast buffet. We regret that they serve no alcohol and no wine with the diner. The swimming pool was nice but slightly fresh (but at that time in the year the...

We stayed here for 2 nights while touring around Petra, Wadi Rum etc. the hotel is old with not much going for it. Rooms are small with hardly any walk around space. Bathrooms have broken shower doors and broken railings. The included buffet breakfast wasn't worth it. Small selection, coffee was at extra cost. The two brothers who own it...

The kind of bed you get in a $200-a-night hotel, warm, friendly, helpful service, a lovely setting. The perfect place to stay to rest up before or after tackling Petra. Buffet dinner offers many choices, including vegetarian, note that no alcohol is served on premises.

This hotel is good if you stay some nights in Petra, and don't want to pay too much. You have everything you need, and the rooms are good and clean. The staff in friendly (especially at the reception desk), and help you when they can. They have a nice parking outside (rental cars) and also have a free shuttle that...
