This hotel is the best option to stay in once in Petra. it is located very high where it gives you grand view to the amazing scenery from up to Petra Mountains especially at sunset, it is a miraculous and astonishing time to be watching. Food and services are very high and the staff are welcoming.
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel a lot. The hotel was very quiet because of the actual situation with tourism. They upgraded our rooms, which was really nice. The view from the hotel is really amazing! The best in Wadi Musa. Also, the swimming pool area was very clean, and it was so rewarding having a swimm with such as magnificent views in front of us! People are really helpful and nice, superb!
I recently had the opportunity to visit Petra and stay at the Petra Marriott Hotel. The hotel is small, and there appears to be limited availability of rooms, possibly due to Covid response. So book ahead! Do not expect your own balcony— there aren’t any that I saw, but the view from the window was beautiful. Even though my visit wasn’t without problems (which I attribute to recently reopening) -for example the advertised shuttle to Petra wasn’t available and the service could be slow. That said, the staff went out of their way to make corrections on the spot and were adhering to all required virus mitigation measures. I gave them 4 stars overall, but they have a 5-star management staff. The hotel manager Mr. Farajat and the food and beverage manager Mr. Nawafleh went out of their way to make sure I felt welcome and valued as their guest. When my colleagues couldn’t get a late checkout from their hotel they were welcomed by the manager to stay and enjoy the amenities of the hotel until I checked out a few hours later. It allowed us all to unwind after a long day hiking through the Petra ruins. A culinary note: I had a nice steak dinner with mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables paired with a bottle of Jordan River wine while watching the sunset over the valley. They also have a traditional Bedouin dinner option but you need to book ahead (next time?!). The view of the valley from the back of the hotel is stunning. Sunset and sunrise were both spectacular! There are other choices to stay while visiting Petra, but I wholeheartedly recommend staying here.…
Very quiet in a post COVID recovery period, but the safety protocols were all in place, stay were well educated on the new procedures, none of which were invasive or troublesome. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Room was a big warm. Pool was perfect after a big day walking around Petra. We really enjoyed the stay.
This hotel is fairly basic, being in bit of remote region of Jordan. The rooms are clean which is sufficient for couple night stay. Do not expect much from the hotel restaurant and its other facilities. Actually, the wi-fi was down while during our stay. The best it can offer is their outdoor terrace............great view for sunset..
