The staff is very friendly, professional, & eager to please. The food was absolutely fantastic with a great variety of dishes. The room was more than adequate at a great price & whatever needed attention was quickly taken care of. It was a most enjoyable week because of this very kind family that runs the business. I was not there to see Petra, but for those that are, it's a great location being so close to the visitor center & entrance.

The venue is very close to the enter of ancient city of Petra and the museum. The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful, speaking italian as well! A wide variety of food in the buffet and a spacious bedroom. Thank you

We spent two nights at the Silk Road Hotel while visiting Petra. The hotel is conveniently located in a street perpendicular to the main street, 600m from the entrance to the Petra site. The rooms overlook the main street, but remain quiet in the evening. They are clean and equipped with the minimum comfort (toilet, bath and sink). The hotel only provides breakfast, but the restaurant "Petra Night Restaurant" located right in front of the hotel will allow you to enjoy a variety of delicious and varied dishes. Due to the often high accommodation prices in this Jordanian tourism hotspot, I recommend this average budget hotel.

The location of the hotel is the best. The manager and staff of the hotel are helpful and kind. Rooms are spacious however the hotel is aged. Curtains and sofas are not cleaned for some time. Bed linens were clean. Bathroom cleanness may get 7/10 from me. Breakfast was not as I expected, but ok.
