Ms. Bateman, the hostess, took our very last-minute reservation for my grandfather's memorial reception, and put together a lovely event for close friends and family. The reservation included light refreshments, a beautiful centerpiece and table setting, and space to chat and mingle on the first floor. A handful of us are crazy about historic homes, and were over the moon...

This was my very first experience at a Bed and Breakfast, but it will not be my last. I felt like I was staying with old friends, Ms. Wanda and Joy were so nice and gracious. I am glad that my original lodging plans fell through and I was able to experience staying in this beautiful home. It was so...

The house was built in 1903, it is full of beautiful antiques and odds and ends. The two beautiful ladies that run the inn and B&B are very warm and welcoming. They are more than happy to make you feel at home and comfortable. We came for a family wedding, and was saddened to see a town that is dying...

This beautiful and historic victorian home, now B&B, is graciously kept by two amazing women. Antiques from floor to ceiling, dominate the first floor rooms. The bedroom areas are relaxing & cozy, well lighted and clean. Wanda & Joy are incredible hostesses. They went out of their way to help us with travel to area historical sites, the best in...

I am the rector of Historic Trinity Episcopal Church, across the street from Margland B&B, and for the eleven years I have been in Pine Bluff, I have always suggested people stay at Margland. My family stayed for a week when we came to visit before we moved to Pine Bluff, and it has many happy associations. My mother stays...

I stayed at Margland in June 2013 during a business trip to Pine Bluff took a tour of all the houses during...

Our recent stay was awful ! Old, old, old and dirty. The bed was clean, and the breakfast was hot. That's the only thing positive. It smelled awful, and looks like it hadn't been cleaned in twenty years. Cobwebs, and roaches also included.

I came in from work one day (in Pine Bluff for a brief contract) exhausted and not feeling like doing anything about dinner. As I was sitting in the back, thinking about what to do, out came the owner, Wanda Bateman, offering me a full dinner which included a goblet of iced tea and banana pudding. She captured my heart...

“The wicker room with sleeping loft, had extra living area & lots of natural sun light. The bedrooms at the other end of the hallway were very quiet and roomy too but not as much area to spread out.”
