My trip was not a pleasant one....I was there to bury my Mother. The staff greeted me with kindness, caring and genuine concern. Because I was traveling alone with my small dog, they thought best to have me near the office in case I needed anything. Tammy, Whitney and Laura were the best I have ever experienced. I have stayed at some very high scale, expensive hotels and NEVER have I had the attention, caring and kindness showered on me. Luis Granados is the general manager and does an outstanding job with his employees.
Stayed here for 2 nights with 2 children and spouse. Everything was clean. We wiped down the room as an extra safety precaution of COVID 19 & The paper towels were still white after we wiped down all surfaces. Complimentary coffee in the morning was a plus in the pantry area. There is a 4 cup coffee maker in the room but couldn’t find any filters or coffee. There is a full fridge and kitchen with cooking items. It’s well known there is not a breakfast at this chain of hotels. Staff was very friendly and helpful in check in and check out process. The only downside was the a/c was off or not effective in hallways. It leads to an odor. I’d definitely stay here again though.
We had to find a last-minute place to stay when a tire blew out while driving through town late at night. We had our three dogs with us so we needed to find a dog-friendly hotel. They graciously allowed all 3 dogs for the cost of one dog and even gave them dog treats! There is also a lot of grass for the dogs to walk on. The staff were ALL very friendly to us and helped to make a bad situation better. The room was large and clean, and we didn't have to spend a fortune. Thank you!!
First and foremost, the customer service is the best! Luis and his team made the stay great! Plus the room, comfort, and extras are wonderful for the money. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, great internet speed, and good to have the full kitchen. Also, there are lots of good restaurants and places to shop (if needed) in the area. Highly recommended.
I read a lot of reviews on TripAdvisor and they were not good for many hotels but they were good for this hotel so we stayed here. It was cold outside so I went into the lobby to wait for my husband but it was even colder in the lobby with the air conditioning turned on very high. We liked our room which was spatious and nicely furnished although it was a bit sterile & plain. I suppose the biggest disappointment was that there was no complimentary breakfast served here. This is clearly a hotel for people that are working and staying here a few days as it has a kitchenette with a large refrigerator. (Candlewood SUITES. I overlooked that, entirely). We moved to a different hotel the next day that served complimentary breakfast because its nice to have a variety of food items to eat & does save a lot of time when you’re going sightseeing. Plus, it’s nice to have real creamer for your coffee, too, in the breakfast room rather than the packaged powdered stuff that hotels provide with coffeemaker in hotel rooms.…
This is one of the best Candlewood Suites I have stayed at. It's less than a mile from the highway, but is set back off the road so you don't get all the highway noise. It is also located close to the mall and several fast food and sit down restaurants. The little snack and sundries shop is well stocked with prices comparable to a Walgreens or 7-Eleven.
Though this hotel is very close to the mall in North Little Rock, it is down far enough from the traffic that is very quiet at night and easy to get out of in the morning. The staff are super friendly and go out of their way to help you during your stay. Kitchen area is clean and stocked with plates, pots, silverware, etc. Nice stay
Wonderful and very kind people in the front desk. The room is large and comfortable. And very clean! The small kitchen is equiped with a fredge, microwave and a small stove... Very close to a Wallmart and walking distance from McCain Mall. For sure one of the best options if you need to stay some weeks in Sherwood area.
Left my jacket in the closet and flew to home, New Jersey. They packed it properly and shipped out to my home address just same day when I called them up. Very impressive service. I got very good services when I stayed for two nights too.
Stayed here while in town for our grandaughter's birthday. The hotel is clean. There is full sized fridge in the room and a small stove. The elevator was slow, but served its purpose. There is no continential breakfast, but a small cupboard where you can purchase stuff. Hotel is conventially located and there are stores and resturants close by. There were no towela in the pool, but it was Feb. Do maybe they didnt think anyone would swim. The pool is only open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. About 9:30 a.m. the cleaning lady was persistently knocking on the door asking when we would leave. Check- out was at 11:00 and she was pretty persistent.
