This hotel is very conveniently-located only a 20-minute drive or so away from Muscat International Airport and just a few minutes away from Lulu Hypermarket. It has both a café and restaurant on site, the latter of which serves very good Moroccan cuisine. There are also several businesses and restaurants in close proximity. We stayed two nights in a comfortable triple room for OMR20. The room consisted of yellow walls, some furniture with several desks and a chair, a fridge, a kettle, tea/coffee making facilities, TV and an open wardrobe containing a safe and telephone. However, there was a door connected to the next room and the room walls were very thin, meaning that you had to rely on quiet neighbours for a good night's slerp. In fact, there was quite a lot of noise in the corridors from other guests in the evening and even at 5 o'clock in the morning, the first night. Nighttime noise was better the second night, but we did have to put up with a screaming child next door until fairly late. There was good WiFi and aircon in the room and the beds were particularly comfortable. The bathroom was large with a good shower and wash basin. Shampoo, bath gel, soap and toilet paper were provided plus good towels. There was no free breakfast, but you can have breakfast or a snack at Casablanca Café who h is inside the hotel where they make a variety of different set breakfast menus. The other side of reception, there is Casablanca Restaurant where you could have your evening meal of you could do so at a nearby restaurant or coffee shop. This hotel provides comfortable accommodation, but, due to its proximity to the airport, it does attract noisy guests staying there just to catch an early-morning flight. This was, in fact, by far the noisiest hotel that I stayed in in Oman. …
This is a great little hotel and very good value. It’s very convenient for the airport, about a 20 minute drive, and is easy to access, straight off the main highway at the Seeb interchange. The hotel is relatively new and is clean, modern and quiet with well presented rooms and large comfortable beds. Staff are really friendly, welcoming and very attentive. The location is right on the edge of Seeb, a few minutes drive or a 25 minute walk from the centre, but there are facilities close to hand. There is an in-house coffee shop where you can take breakfast plus sandwiches, burgers, cakes, coffee, juices etc throughout the day and a full restaurant is in the process of opening immediately adjacent to the hotel. There are local eateries/coffee shops behind the hotel and a Mcdonalds and a LuLu supermarket just a few minutes drive away (towards Muscat).…
Our final stop before returning to Muscat after a 10-day tour of Oman. There’s very little character to the hotel, but it’s clean and functional, and ideally located for the airport. WiFi worked well. Seeb is a very relaxed place. Different to inland. The Corniche is great for a walk around sunset, and there’s an excellent food stall at the back of the hotel, brimming with local life.
Convenient location (airport), parking space, 5 minutes to town, nice beds and pillows (!) and a very friendly and helpful indian manager. In downtown Seeb is a nice souq and some good restaurants, not many tourists. Sawadi beach is an interesting place about 40 minutes drive
I was only there over night but found it a fair place to stay. Pre booked a airport shuttle service which was on time but slightly over crowded. Room was clean and fairly well maintained. Checking in / out was effortless and flowed well. There are 2 bars down stairs is a disco type but for a quiet pint upstairs was good. Had food in my room which was plenty in size and reasonable in price.
