Spent 2 nights in cabin on the rim at Petit Jean State Park over Thanksgiving (made reservation 6 months in advance as very popular). Went on a 1.5 hour hike down to Cedar Falls on Thanksgiving morning, beautiful hike through the woods to the Falls,...More

Mather Lodge is a beautiful lodge built by the CCC back in the 40's. The lodge has modern amenities but keeps it's rustic nature. Sits on a hilltop surrounded by gorgeous scenery. My room was small, but very comfortable. Bed was great, a neat bathroom...More

We stayed at Mather Lodge for our 17th wedding anniversary. It's nice to be able to hike several trails and never have to drive anywhere. We hiked 12.5 miles in 2 days. The rooms were smaller than a motel room, BUT not too small.

Petit Jean has accessible lodge rooms & cabins. The cabins have plenty of seating. The ADA lodge rooms have a desk and chair, other lodge rooms have a rocking chair.

Thank you for the question. The Lodge rooms do not have refrigerators or microwaves, however, Petit Jean State Park does have fully equipped cabins.
