“Maurice's breakfast's are superb. He is an extremely knowlegable host who is most helpful on all matters concerning P Williams. The atmosphere in the hotel is relaxed, you can come and go as you please and make use of all the facilities.

The hotel is clean and comfortable and more than welcome after a long trip down to the island or after more than a week hiking the island. But Maurice and his family were immensely helpful for months before our trip and then immediately before and after when our trip went off the rails. I can't say enough about this family's kindness and also knowledge of the island. I hope I see them again.

The property is relatively new so it's clean and comfortable. Their mattress was surprisingly comfy. Had good WiFi and great breakfast. English-speak owner was extremely helpful. Other staffs don't speak English, but they tried to make me feel comfortable at all time.

Utterly disappointed by what seems to be a brand new comfy hotel. The lady at the reception, claiming to be the owner, was in away different...Having experienced the great Patagonian hospitality elsewhere, she was adamant on payment as soon as self and another couple guests walked into the premises. With an already overpriced hotel, the receptionist (no English, only Spanish) now aspired to over charge with some vague explanation re taxes. Once paid, she told us that by 10am checkout we are kindlyy asked to leave premises, no leaving luggage or using facilities afterwards. It most certainly felt like not your home away from home... Bottom line, avoid! you would find better value, and not only in monetary terms...

Perfectly nice hotel on the edge of town, clean and comfortable. However, they do not treat tourists well. The unsmiling, unhelpful woman in the desk when we arrived (apparently the owner’s wife), spoke no English and we were fortunate that another person checking in at the same time spoke good Spanish and could translate. This woman insisted that if we wanted to pay by credit card we could not have the VAT tax deduction that is the right of every tourist who has the PDI card. She gave the reason as having to pay Booking.com 15% but this has nothing to do with us - if they take credit cards (which they do), then this should apply to tourists too. We went to get cash and she didn’t even say thank you when we paid her. In the morning she stayed in the back room while we ate breakfast, didn’t bother to come out and either say good morning or goodbye when we left. Sadly, although the hotel is perfectly nice I would not stay here. Chile is full of lovely welcoming places and delightful staff, and I suggest you give this place a miss.
