This is our first time here and we loved every minute of it! The resort is absolutely gorgeous with plenty of photo ops. Eduardo, our butler was very accommodating, easy to get ahold of, and made our experience run smoothly with booking all of our reservations and answering our questions. He also decorated our suite and jacuzzi with rose petals and booked our romantic beach dinner. The beach is serene with plenty of chairs/beds for everyone but if you want to beat the crowds go in before 10 am or after 3 pm. We had the sky suite lounge and took advantage of our jacuzzi! It takes about an hour to fill up but it’s very nice; better to if you throw in a bath bomb too. Our favorite places to eat was the steakhouse and the French restaurant. Our favorite drink was the Banana Mama. COVID19 testing was on site and very easy to schedule an appointment and do. The food, the sights, the luxury feel, the drinks, the pools, the beach, Majestic Mirage has it all!…
What a great place to go and just relax. We had the swim out pool and absolutely loved it. The food was delicious. the service was great. The rooms were better than advertised. One of my favorite things was our Butler Carlos. We had never had a butler before and it is something everybody should experience. A couple other people I would like to mention who were outstanding, Louise banana! I don’t think that’s his real name. He was very helpful and friendly. We liked our server on the beach Emmanuel. Don’t hesitate to stay here. Everything was great!
I’ll start by saying the beach is beautiful and the food is good. However, the condition of our room and the customer service is another story. Upon arriving to the hotel, we waited about 30 minutes for someone to finally check us in, and when one of the ladies helped us, she kept walking away saying she was going to check on something but never communicated what the problem was until I asked, leading to actual check in taking about 45 minutes. She said there were no clean sky view rooms which was fine, it would have just been nice if this had been told to us instead of us having to wonder what was going on. A room suddenly became available which was great until we went to the room and could tell that a rush job was done as far as cleaning. To make matters worse, we went to dinner the first night and came back to find part of the ceiling had collapsed and water was dripping onto our luggage. We called to let the front desk know and they said they’d send a bellhop to collect our luggage and take us to the new room, but a bellhop never came. We had to call again to inquire and were told they “thought” a bellhop had already come. Eventually someone came to take us to a new room. The ceiling wasn’t falling but the condition of this room was even worse. There was black mold all over the shower and standing water that had an awful smell. Not to mention, the safe wouldn’t work so we couldn’t safely store our passports and the A/C wasn’t working properly so the room wasn’t very cool. We mentioned this to Isabel (I believe that was her name) in guest services and her response was that they have a lot of issues with the sky view rooms. There were also several random power outages throughout our stay that no one could explain. We were supposed to have a butler but it was so difficult to get in touch with guest services (or anyone for that matter) via phone that we never found out who was supposed to be our butler. Overall, the grounds at the resort are nice and the food is good but the rooms need some serious attention. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone if the cleanliness of your room is important.…
Spent 7 beautiful days at the adults only section of the Mirage. We had an awesome time. Our room was spacious and beautiful, and kept super clean daily (#4214). Our butler Enmanuel was always trying to please and gave us excellent service. Definitely recommend this resort and wouldn’t hesitate coming back in the near future.
This was our first trip to the Majestic Mirage. Upon arrival, we experienced several bumps in the road - from check-in through the next couple of days - after which we finally experienced the type of service that was highly touted by our friends. The facility is absolutely beautiful, the food amazing, the nightlife superb, the service stepped up its quality and the weather and beach/beach activities/service was outstanding - tropical paradise!! While waiting for pick-up on our departure day, the manager surprised us with a nice visit and chat - She was very professional, astute and kind. We intend to go back next year - knowing that the hiccups we first experienced was due to restarting/re-stimulating the facility and staff after a long shutdown as a result of the world-wide pandemic.…
