My stay at the Lopesan resort was very pleasant. From the moment I arrived on the property, I was impressed with the hotel and aesthetics. The employees, from the reception to wait staff at the restaurants were all friendly and helpful and they were a big highlight of the trip for me. The room was beautiful and clean and we really enjoyed having the swim-up pool. The food at all the restaurants was delicious. The variety of what was offered was plentiful and the food itself was good. The beaches and pools were all beautiful, no complaints there. Understandably, a few areas of the resort of unavailable due to Covid, I supposed, but nevertheless, there are many amenities there to keep you occupied. I really enjoyed my visit and I hope to be able to visit again.
It was a super vacation, short but we will come back for sure! They are very helpfull and friendly. We have seen a lot in the world but this place belongs to the top 3! The pool activity was nice and very fun! We learn how to dance.
The hotel it Self is really nice, its new, beach is Ok but a lot of local people swimming and walking around. The biggest let down is service, Nobody speaks english, everything is a problem for employees, they dont respect Anyone, half of the hotel is closed like candy shop, vine, pub And much more. They close swimming pool at 6 oclock😱 biggest waist of money
I am going to start by telling you the good things about the hotel. The hotel is beautiful, the food is good in the specialty restaurants and in the buffet. The bad things: They have a service called Unique where you pay more for a "VIP service." Do not fall for that. That service is a sham. when you get to the hotel the beautiful big lobby is without AC, the room that I paid for even 1 hour later after the check-in time was not ready. There is no separate place for the Unique clients, everybody is with everybody. With this service, you have included the specialty restaurants and you can go to these restaurants, with or w/o reservation. Well, many of the times there were no reservations and when you tried to go w/o one, they will tell you no because you don't have a reservation. I was told they can not honor Unique because then the restaurant is going to be full of Unique clients and the other clients that are not unique will be mad. In any Hotel, you have a place where you can exchange the Beach towels, in this one no. You have to call for the towels to be exchanged, good luck having your towels change on time when you need them. The pool is a very big pool and as usual, the farthest bar is the one open. The closest one and more convenient close. There are only 1 or 2 servers working in the pool to serve drinks, good luck finding one. There were passing every 45 min to 1 hour. Meaning you have to chase your own drink regardless if you are Unique or not. Drinks in general low quality, even though they have a few brands( not premium) the final product in any drink was bad. The Hotel was in my opinion oversold with nationals which is fine with me, but the management thought that you can serve 300 people or 1000 with the same personnel, and half of the hotel close. There were lines in the buffet to eat. When I say lines, lines of 80 to 100 people because half of the buffet was close. The theater, casino, the escape room, the nightclub is close. MAny other places like the gym, sports bar, lobby, no AC. You can have a heatstroke in the gym. There were 3 blackouts during my stay. Either the hotel does not have a plant or they did not want to turn it on. Save your money go somewhere else where they appreciate more your money and time.…
