Had a wonderful time as always at this beautiful resort! Our Butlers were Wendi and Jerol. They took excellent care of our group of 11. We had multiple requests for appointments at the salon and spa as well as golf and everything was on point! Getting ready to book our flights to return hoping to get Wendi and Jerol back again😊
The Hard Rock In Punta Cana is by far our favorite vacation destination. This facility is spotless, beautiful and a true non-stop ride...I need a vacation from my vacation. The list of the to-do's is a mile long and everyone is exceptionally nice and engaging. My diet was wrecked from all of the delicious foods and the variety of restaurants. This is the true WOW factor. You can't walk 50 feet without some type of food offerings, even at the pool, shopping mall or even outside the casino. We can't wait to go back at Christmas for another visit.
This was one of our best vacations, The hotel is clean, check-in was fast. The staff are amazing. Special thank you for above and beyond service to the following staff: Laura at Vacation Services Wellington at Member Services Alex at the Market place Orlando at the Market place Ana at Room Service I recommend this hotel for families and couples. It has the party atmosphere and the relaxing pools.
It was good time with family and service was great! Elevator not working going to my room no bueno I address the problem but still walking up the stairs. Also not my first time here. Had a better time before with no issues.
We had a wonderful stay at this resort. The food is decent, plenty of activities, very clean and fun for the entire family. Do yourself a favor and go to the market restaurant and request Kelvin, he will make your entire restaurant experience memorable and pleasurable. It is always nice to give your tips to the people who really deserve them versus the ones you just help to get a tip. Kelvin was so friendly and would go out of his way to make our experience the best in every way he could help. Check in was not great. They were unable to provide us the type room we booked. They refused to give us a credit for the difference that we paid. They said that because we were put in a newer building that it was nicer despite the room clearly showing online that it was less money. We were then told we would get massages as credit but then they never responded when we tried to schedule the massages. We were not the only people that were put in the wrong room. There were 2 other couples that were checking in who also didn't receive the type room that they booked. Room service was just okay. The resort is very clean overall. Hibatchi restaurant was great. Laser tag was so much fun and the staff was super friendly. Don't bother using the virtual reality lounge. None of the games work and the staff is so rude and expect you to pay even if the machines don't work. My kids attempted to play for 8 minutes and then gave up after getting non stop error messages and girl told us we would have to pay for full 15 minutes. Pools are awesome. The lines at the pool bars are typically pretty long but the workers move people through fast. Most of the staff are friendly. The manager at the front -Mirpil, not so much. Overall great stay and would go back! We traveled with 9 people and we were all very happy with the trip.…
Expensive holiday, have a had a better time at cheaper hotels, entertainment wasn’t great. All the staff work for the highest bidders(tips) -basically all American. Food is average. Had the best time on the excursions outside the hotel. Which hard rock WILL try and get more money out of you if possible. Then will make you sit in a 3 hour talk(talking you into spending more money on more holidays)in order to get the excursions for the NORMAL price. a total joke. Decent grounds and pools, the better restaurants are always rammed and unable to book. Have to pay for the mini golf and bowling (extortionately priced) drinks are weak compared to English drinks even though they pour 3x the amount. Enjoyed the holiday due to the people I was with and the excursions.
Had a great time on my recent vacation to Punta Cana, especially with outside activities and services, but here’s my experience with the HR resort. I checked in and they kept the passport, no one called me to let me know it's at the front office until I went looking for it on the last day and found out it was at the front desk. The food had been reduced to a very low standard. I see ham & cheese sandwiches, and hotdogs as convenient food. Buffet had limited options. Common drinks such as mint mojitos are always out. Service was low standard compare to Mexico. I feel like I’m at a some-inclusive resort not all-inclusive. Charges $40 for 20 minutes to use the Flow rider, $10 for a coconut and $8 for a game of miniature golf? What?? The system with credits and salon booking was complicated and exhausting. I made a request for changes to a different date for my massage appointment with at the spa, they set me up with a new appointment, but didn't tell me anything else. Found out later with the front desk it wasn't cancel and had to go to vacation planner to cancel it. When I arrived with vacation planner, they needed the slip and could not help me without one. Went down to the spa to print out one and brought it back to cancel the appointment. Received 1 credit slip for the restaurant and hotel credits for attending the presentation. Went to the restaurant and they asked for a credit slip, so we gave it to them. When I checked out, the front desk does not have any information of credits. Had to go to sales department to print out a credit slip to bring to the front desk to apply the credit. Very disappointing!!…
It was a great time with my family … we enjoyed the food and all the activities!! We will definitely return in the near future and Franklin pool concierge was so good and attentive the food was so nice
It’s my second time in Hard Rock, last time was 2012. There have been improvements since we last came and it’s a bit more Commercialised. The place is huge and still as amazing as the last time. No optics in the room this time and a lot more upsells but still in all, an amazing place. The water journey and couples massage is a must ! Kids club were amazing with our daughter too.
We have come here for our honeymoon and to say we are disappointed is an understatement. We are currently still out here now and if I could change hotels I would! Wouldn't waste your money. If you would like to wait 45mins + to get into a restaurant for dinner then this is the place for you! They also hold big conferences here so you have over 100+ people also using the facilities which then also causes longer queues for dinner 2 restaurants closed and also nightclub which you are not informed when you book or before you leave. We brought a honeymoon package which we have had to go to reception everyday as we are missing items (5* hotel and the price you pay you would have thought something may have been included) Fridge is never stocked up and they continuously run out of things! Which is very frustrating when you have been waiting a long time in a queue to then be told what you wanted isn't available anymore. Half of the things on site are not included which given how much is paid you would have thought would have been standard. Also not access to all of the pools you need to be a member and they get lovely cushions on there sunbeds! If you want a 5* hotel I recommend you choose a different hotel that you will get a better service from.…
